[SPOILERS] Serdoa, Ichabod and Ex-Girlfriends - co-starring NH,Bigger and Lewwyn

Library is probably better, yeah, but we've delayed Sankore a while so I was thinking we'd get it done just in case someone gets any ideas about stealing it.

crazyeye Dude, I had to put signs for the group of four workers across three signs. When I said "MN finish workshop" I meant they would finish the workshop on the original tile which is 4/6 completed, not start a new workshop on the tile that the sign is on...

Okay so if we build a library in Iris this turn we should keep tech off for another turn. We don't need RP for anything (no windmills, shocking!) so we'd just be saving gold for Rifling instead which isn't a problem. If we start on Sankore then I'd set tech at 90% and finish RP next turn.

I swapped some coast/village tiles, giving the village tiles to the stronger cities with more multipliers. Standard issue stuff.

Gavagai also signed peace with Nakor in exchange for a city, totally copying us. lol

Oh, sorry for the workshop-confusion. Was wondering already why you wanted it that way but I guessed you have a great plan certainly behind it. lol

Getting Sankore because others could snipe it is the better way to do it I guess. I'll change it back and we'll just finish it for now. I'll also set RP to 90%.

I changed Anna over to the pillaged clam instead of the hamlet, it's still better. And the artist is fired for a merchant since we're already at 8% culture, up from 6% culture from last turn.

Also city numbers are interesting:

Serdoa/NH: 26
Jowy: 20
Gavagai: 18
yurimack: 16
slow: 15
WK: 14
Sian: 10
Kurumi: 8
BaII: 5
Nakor: 3

I didn't realize that Jowy is the only one to actually be in touch with us in terms of cities. And we will actually settle 27 next turn. And then we have ~13 more cities to settle. So we will be at 40 and I think that won't even take that long.

Just to follow up on this - Jowy has definitely had a bit of a resurgence lately, passing Sian in score. It looks like Gavagai, Jowy and us are the ones that still have room to settle for the most part. There are some empty areas near Kurumi I think though.

We should do a tech update soon and see what the rankings look like now.

WK has Compass now. We'll probably need to get Astronomy quite soon, probably after Engineering but we'll see. I've swapped EP over to him, hopefully we can get research visibility in 6-7 turns. We have it on yuris, cheetah and Sian now.

I did a lot of tile juggling in the northeast. I know it offends your human instincts to have a city lose food, but it's more efficient to grow one city at a time and then grow the other one. wink We can grow Birgit rapidly after we're done running specialists during the GA, it can't grow quickly right now anyway. Not sure what we want to build in Isabella. It only has two unique cottages so we don't exactly need to build commerce buildings there. We could build a barracks and then build some rifles, we haven't built units in forever.

Yeah, units sounds good. If we could get 40-50 Rifles and 10 Galleons we could most likely go and kick butt. It seems half the players are having declared us winner already anyhow.

cheetah swapped to Nationhood and Theocracy, and also Slavery and HR. This is the last turn of his GA. He's teching Gunpowder 2t. Still needs Banking, Alphabet and all subsequent techs for Rifling. We're still the only people with PP which is shocking I'd say.

Jowy still has an unimproved silk in the middle of his empire...

Wasn't a lesson learned in PB8 that someone bringing up concession in the IT thread is absolutely the worst way to handle it?
