Hey, that's fine, since I ended up getting up a little later anyway ... My email is [redacted], Fintourist, with all the spaces removed.

Just had a three-hour fifteen-minute chat with Fintourist and Old Harry about the situation (actually, I left early; as far as I know, they're still at it). What we learned:
*Fintourist has rabies
*Old Harry has creepy thoughts about suttree
*THH is afraid of gchat smileys
*Health care in the UK is messed up
*The mayor of Toronto, Canada is a drunk
*The only reason Fintourist and Old Harry were keeping me around as a ded-lurker was to feed me to their pet sheep
I'll leave the reporting on the actual decision-making to the actual players. Suffice it to say, we considered EVERYTHING, in great detail, and made what you may possibly consider a choice.
Oh, I forgot a point:
*suttree delenda est!

What an exhausting turn. As Hydra already told, we had a long chat consisting of simming, analyzing how to distribute XP points from our GG etc.
Hydra already told the main things, but here is the recap: - In the end we decided not to sacrifice our workers by chopping hop jungle tiles next to Hastings.
- We will defend in Hastings and suttree's 4 cats won't be enough to break our defenses. In our sims if suttree suicided 4 cats + 12 axes he did not get a single battle where he had odds. So we hope that's what happens..
- If Hydra moves towards Jamestown, he has to move to flatland and we will attack out. IIRC we will have odds in first 12 battles. This is a more tricky situation, but odds will still be on our side
- If I remember correctly we will have 8 axes, 4 bows, 2 chariots, 2 spears & 1 warrior inside Hastings next turn. (assuming suttree moves in) When you remember that the city is on a hill, our defenders are promoted and bowmen function quite well in cities on hills, you can imagine that we really need bad luck to lose Hastings during the next turns..
Here is the list of changes/comments that I made Harry after our chat: - I decided to put our research to 0 % because we finish library this turn in Agincourt. We are not gonna revolt to Caste anyway next turn, because we will still need our whip and don't really know if Jamestown will be threatened (the reason to finish it know would have been to pop borders 1 turn faster in Jamestown)
- Bowman in Light Brigade moved SE towards the battle front. Just for the flexibility.
- We actually can't whip BoP next turn. The city will have just 49/100 hammers. We could have worked a plains tile to get it to 50/100, but since the city will anyways be lacking worker support and I think that we will get the rice site regardless of that one turn I did not do that
And final random comment: - Yurimack's most western city is just crazy. IIRC it's 16W and 4N of his capital and 3E and 6S of m_h's capital. I'm not sure if that tells more about yurimack or m_h though..

Nope. Canadian or Aussie (timezone meant Canadian but people move). Just trying to understand the somewhat cryptic point.

Breaking news:
Suttree moved as expected E of Hastings, probably loaded something into galley as well. Implications:
- I think we want to move YossarianLives back to Jamestown next turn. Maybe?
- Moving the other bowman (shock) back to Jamestown is an option too, but I think we want to have it in Hastings. Only having 2 bowmen in the city would make it already a bit more risky..
