So, what's happening? That last set of demos looked pretty good but is, sadly, a bit out of date. Also, I love that plains oasis.
Long story short, at the time i took those screenshots i was considering going Col , aestethich literaturre ,Cs so a full peace game casue i was thinking i have loads of land but looking carefuly i have 11 cities i can plant on the continent 3 more(not great , just ok with 1 food ) so that would have been 14 with another on an island for 15 cities , sincerly thats to few so i changed the plan i went full miliatry mode:Hbr, construction but first i got HR becasue i have a wine and i knew i will nee happines for my whiping sprree(every city has 2-3-4 unhappy from whiping).
Another reason which mad me change is thta Mh build colosus a very good wonder for me.So that lead us to this situation
The situation is not very good at some point some civ had 350 gnp people with more food betr Mfg and beter wonders.And not forget sutree atacked me very early which set me back alot, but i still aim a finish in top 3,which will not be easy but one can hope.
Well they dont have construction or hbr i think but thye are agresive and got a general i bet they have line 15 axes or something like that and a crap load of bowmans. or more axes if they didnt build bowmans but those were very good against sutree.
The one whch actualy worries me si sutree he has likke 9-10 cats and loads of axes too, slowly this became the war continent, first 3 powers here.

Turn 125
some cities and demos screen: this is glosiuos capitol, just 1 food resources nut has many flodplains and i still grow it to size 16-17 i think. this is the city which gave great scienrist and was my most important i will get another great person in 15-20 turns depends in what rush i am for a G age. This is were heroic epic will go, i know is not that great but i have to get it somewere and this one is decent enough, no other beter spot.Beeing near front makes him even more important for that pourpouse. My military units, second in power so soemeone realy builded a bigger army, which i am realy surpised so someone else not just MH will be get out of game. demos , as you seen someone has a GNp more then double , but thats fine i will catch up, casue you know organized is stronger as empire are bigger.

Well you might say ORg save you just 22 gold which is not true ,becasue of the rounding of civs is calcullated, and i know this becasue once i took time to change leader in game,and for by mig suprise with org expenses were like 25 and without org were like 65(dont remeber the exact number but without or expenses for civic upkeep were more than double with a good number) or something, i dont have the good explanation for this but i always felt this in my games. My army atacking MH, which will die in like 4 turns from now. I think i never done a full atck with Ha, catapults axes at rb , but this time i felt i had to and that becasue 5 reasons: 1. Even i managed to get loads of land , the land is weak, not realy great from what i seen on the map my lnad is in the top 5 worse land(loads of it bad bad) 2.My island prospects very low cant compare to other. 3.And now lets go the main reson; MH builded colosus and has an academy in his capitol. 4.Mh didnt builded too much military. 5.MH teching ability were realy good and he had no pplace to expand and what he will done the simply gow tech feeudalism and get loads of protective longbows in his cities, and that with knighs takes loads of efort to disloge. 6.I know i wrote just 5 but did you seen how great MH land is is, almost all green with loads food resources. Hopely i will not loose too much units on finishing Mh casue Geopolicts not easy at all, The Finhydra team decided to dow themselv MH and get a city which is very near me , and in 10 turn peace expire and i dont know what he is thinking and from demos looks like theyr are doing very well, have a huge army as well and they look very oportuniist and greedy i hope this will cost them. And there is sutree problem which from a hated enemy became a realy good friend with him pushing hard agains finhydra, i can hope he carry this one. I bete 80% of player from game say well mac will win this chanses are low but I personaly game will be long nice one with some serious play: Dtay, finhydra,scopin,plako, comodore all look very good, and after at some point sutree will die(most likely those finhydra will atac) i will take a litle share but not very much ther i will have some very strong neighbours: Plako9 dont need to say something, he is strong player good wonders, just wait for 12 turns Ga), fintourist and i think scopin which will ate nakor(just excelent).And you dont say finhydra is not a good team , man they won the demo game. |
