hey, I'm still your dedlurker! Oh wait, you have a close-ish neighbor and you're pissed at me? 13 tiles isn't that bad, settle a few front cities on a hill and keep ok garrisons in there. The only scenario where AGG would truly be useful is if we were boxed in by them and needed to fight our way out. NoGas are very conservative players; they want early conflict even less than you do. They'll look to conquer later, when they have a tech edge over one of their neighbors and, you know, that's where Darius is helpful. I bet we'll even get the disputed pigs and sheep.

God, I so, so hate building sandboxes... Too lazy to print the screenshot and always get tiles wrong from memory... Can anyone advise how to do it efficiently?
(Yes, I'm going to start reporting this once again.)

EDIT: Oh, yes, I actually FAILED to update a sandbox which Oxy so kindly made to me. After placing a lot of tiles I discovered that Oxy left a settler standing on his actual starting position, not where we found our capital (which is 1 tile N) as I assumed. Hence, all tiles I have placed are off. Wow, I'm so terrible in it that it's not even funny. May be I'll try again in a few days... or may will just play without a sandbox.

You're on the right track with this:

Hey, Gavagai, just a minor thing that Gaspar asked me to talk with you about. Some turns ago, near the start of the game, when you declared war on Gaspar to scout his capital, you ended up "double-moving" him in one of the turns, by moving your scout twice before he logged into the game. That's a very minor issue, since the only information that was denied was the direction in which your scout went after he left Gaspar's land, but it's technically a double-move.

Obviously, there's no problem with that specific incident. But I just want to point out that, when you are at war with another player, it's best if some sort of turn split is observed, because sometimes we can't see exactly how our play is going to affect other players, even in things considered minor.

Sorry if I'm being annoying, but double-moves are a very sensitive issue. I'll also make a post soon in the tech thread to point out the double move rules more clearly to all the players, to avoid misunderstandings. I just decided to wait a bit longer to talk about it in order to avoid any possibility of indirectly conveying info to the other teams.

This issue was already reported to me by another lurker (outside of this forum). I'll be more careful in future, of course.
