I'll answer Q's post in the answer to Seven.
The objective of the attack is basically to assimilate the only 2 cities novice has that I want, or to stop novice from having those cities. The capital Mercator with Mids and Lambert with Henge, MoM (I think) and the Hindu shrine are the main targets. I don't mind what happens with the rest, either captured or razed at the time of the attack or later on. The method is straight forward. Culture pops onto the banana. That gives me access to dump a stack onto the tile south of Miller. The unit composition will be at least 10 cats plus other assorted units, but I want to be heavy on the HA for the second part of the plan. If the attack on Miller succeeds and I don't lose too many units, I can keep the city despite it being 3 tiles from Lambert. I can used the GA to artist bomb Miller and I think I would get the inner ring of tiles (read the grass land tile 4 of Miller). So long as I have the roads in place, that enables the HA that are still south of Miller to immediately attack Lambert on the same turn. I could also position excess troops to threaten Mercator the next turn. This generally falls down if novice has longbows. Whilst I would rather capture and keep Lambert, I'm perfectly willing to just raze it. So right now the unit composition is looking like 20+ HA, 10+ cats, whatever chariots I have left over (4?), 3 spears and 2WE. Those numbers will only be revised upwards FWIW, so it's perfectly feasible that I actually attack with 45 units.
