Realms Beyond Fantasy Football 2013-14 - Time to beat the Brit

Oddly enough, I briefly debated picking up a defense that wasn't playing the Broncos this week then decided I don't really care about the consolation bracket and so long as I actually set my starters, whatever. For funsies though, check out me vs TT w/o the defenses. lol
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

Bush was hurt during pre-game warm-ups actually. After the inactives had already been set.

I think I will win my game. I always win when it doesn't matter. smile

And I never win when it matters! (Will soon be lifetime 0-7 in fantasy football playoffs) crazyeye We're like the yin and yang of fantasy football.

No less than three flags on that Morestead tackle of Ginn.

Montee Ball and Andre Ellington. rolleye

Think you got this one, Cyneheard.

So what happens if there's a draw in the playoffs? (Other than us yelling at scooter for not having decimals on.)

You're as surprised as I am. AP getting injured obviously hurt.

My guys chose the right week to show up. I'm 10 points above my best showing of the season, and Bennett hasn't played yet.

Let's give an update on the playoff bracket going into MNF. Seed in parenthesis.

Wetbandit (1) 93 - 119 Cyneheard (8)

Wetbandit has Dez Bryant left, Cyneheard has Martellus Bennett. It's certainly not impossible for wetbandit to pull this off, but it's certainly not likely.Anyway, this looks to be our biggest upset. Cyneheard pulled in great numbers all down his lineup, but the real headliner was Adrian Peterson leaving his game after scoring just 1 point with what looked to be a big injury. Rough luck for wetbandit.

scooter (2) 105 - 88 Kuro (7)

This one is over, Kuro has all his roster done. I've still got a kicker to go tonight in MNF, but it obviously won't impact the outcome. GG Kuro.

Sir Bruce (3) 65 - 135 DavidCorperial (6)

Another upset on the back of the best week anyone turned in. DavidCorperial did so well that his top 3 starters got more points than Sir Bruce's entire lineup. If you include his top 4 starters (Manning, Jamaal Charles, Josh Gordon, and Shane Vereen) he cleared 100 points with just those 4 guys. Yeesh. Peyton Manning and Josh Gordon on the same fantasy team is flat-out unfair. So this one is done.

NobleHelium (4) 93 - 33 Pindicator (5)

Pindicator still had Jeffery and Gould left to play (Noble still has Murray), but this one is done. Rough week for pindicator where Bush didn't play as expected and nobody showed up. So this one is done.

So barring a massive game from Dez Bryant tonight, I think all 4 of our playoff games have been decided. The only thing is I can't actually tell if everyone just advanced straight forward in the bracket, or if it does re-seeding. I think it's the former, but I can't remember from past years, and I don't see any mention of it in the rules... So even if Cyneheard hangs on to win tonight, I'm not sure what our next round matchups will be just yet.

Tie goes to the higher seeded team.

It's a straight bracket advancement, the placement in the playoff bracket screen makes it pretty clear that winners advance to the next matchup as you'd expect.
