[NO PLAYERS] The Kibitzer Klub: PB13 Map & Lurkers

If your opinion is based on your experienced so far in 15 I can understand your frustration but I don't think your assessment is entirely correct. I may be missing some of his games in thinking this but it seems like PB5 is the only game I've followed that supports your idea, and it can be argued that he at least improved his final standings by means of the grudge war with cyneheard. Sure, a death struggle doesn't have to be fun for the participants, and that sucks, but I don't think you can categorically say it's inevitable if you start out next to Commodore. If you know a player has a tendency to take it to the mattresses that may be inventive to be sure you can finish the meal if you intend to take a bite.

Courtesy of civ general...So Krill is suggested as the sub for both the invader and defender of the same war? That would seem to be a difficult task. lol

The thing is xenu, he has improved his play, what leads to him more often seeing a realistic shot at winning (see PB8 as example). And as I said, as long as he sees that he does imo not go into "grudge mode".

And of course that's all my opinion based on my games with him, so I might very well be off. Though PB15 is a pretty good example that imo shows exactly that behaviour from his side.

Re: 15 possibly not but it'd be impossible for you to know his motivations until after the game.

Hmm.... Where?
What?
How?
Ah... eek

They just want their Galley back.... rolf

I hope...
No stack in sight yet....

after all the talk in the Scoopin thread wishing they had a unit on that boot for random city razing, I think their 'harmless galley' well end up being more beneficial in the long run for their own chances.

Nakor isn't whipping at the moment. still building forge...

Yeah, he's falling back on the 'pray I get LBs in time' defense. Not likely to work out so well, given he's got not much army to delay Scoopin long enough to matter. He'll be quite delayed to Feud by Scoopin eating all his commerce cities and then won't be able get more than a few LBs out of whatever's left before he's piled on by Lewger and/or Azza.

Given he's seen Scoopin first running high tech and now building power sharply, and commented on it, should be fairly clear what's in the cards I would have thought...

Yup. He has everything he needs to defend - catapults and elephants and whippable pop and culture - but he's missing the certainty that an attack is coming. If he had 10 more turns, longbows would quite possibly deter Scooticator.

Commodore and Lewger have seen it, and they don't have lurker vision. wink
If he built Eles and flashed them as Commodore has done, it might have bought him some/all of those 10 turns.

I don't think flashing some Eles will stop scooticator since they know they need some kind of land from their opponents. to help keep themselves apace with Mackoti and his conquering of MH.
