Tides of War PBEM

This idea was mentioned in the Tides of War thread, so I thought it would be good to talk about it separately, without spamming the mod discussion thread

I can only imagine how much testing a balance mod requires. Some of it can probably be done against AI, but its main purpose and where it shines is against human opponents. So, with release of Tides of War, I think a PBEM is in order

Considering it would be a test game for a new mod, good reporting will be essential. There were a few poorly reported games recently (including one I'm playing in ) - hope this would not be one of them

I'd play. Hopefully I can find a good ded-lurker that makes me report the game well. I can't promise the best thread, but at least PB13 level report is feasible.

As I said in the mod thread, I'l gladly play or make a map or watch or whatever. Whatever makes people happiest.

So people have the right expectations, what are everyone's requirements for a holiday pause?

I don't think anyone will mind if the game is on hold over Christmas. Don't know my exact plans myself yet, but do know that my internet and Civ access may be sporadic

So, we have 5 players. No bans are needed, since that's the whole purpose of the mod. Let's do a simple snake pick, roll a Torusland map and start this? I propose that the snake pick order should be the opposite of the turn order.

Anything else I'm missing?
