RB Pitboss #2 [SPOILERS] - Gandhi of Korea (Broker33 & plako)

plako Wrote:It is not certain and still finding someone that we could trade with might be more important than barracks. Of course getting metal through trade might be quite difficult.

I would bet dollars to donuts that on turn 56 we get an email stating that the nap will expire. I think we need to build some chariots as soon as possible which is why I made the changes I did. We can always whip the settler later I think the military option would be useful.

Maybe the chariot rush if we get the notice. But we need horses hooked and the barraks.

I'm alright with the switch.

Warrior continues to NE and found another silk from inside Rome's cultural borders. Both workers are on chopping duty.

Message from Whosit. I haven't remembered to check my gmail account so this is over 2 day old message

Quote:Dear plako and Broker33,

I am glad to see that Korea is thriving. I would like to offer belated congratulations on founding your second city. I cannot be certain, of course, but I believe that we may be among the first to expand.

I was also wondering if you have had any luck in locating other civilizations. So far, my scouts have encountered nothing but hungry animals. It almost appears as though we are the only two peoples in the world, but I find that hard to believe. I am trying to remain optimistic, but the world seems large, so there is much ground to cover yet.

Best regards,

Whosit, Ruler of the Interim Imperium

I send this mainly to keep communication channels open.

Quote:Dear Whosit,

I've been somewhat following score raises and I think there are few others that have their 2nd city up and Sullla's team was probably 1st one couple of turns before us.

So far we haven't met enyone, but we naturally know there are others around also in our continent. It is just matter of time when we meet someone else.

Rome has copper.

I whipped monument and probably I'll put overflow+chop on worker in our 2nd city.

Wheel ready. I considered between Pottery and Archery and decided to go for pottery. We can start Archery after Pottery and still have time to produce some Archers.

Capital produces Work boat for scouting and maybe later to improve crabs.

In Pyongjang I did put overflow and chop to worker and continue with Barracks next turn unless you've other ideas.

Have you given up on metals? How about building a warrior for more scouting and researching Iron Working? I don't know where the metals are, mind you.

Going for IW would delay our economical progress quite a bit. I'm thinking Pottery/Archery/Writing tech path currently. If Rome has Iron we'll be in trouble without metal, but it takes too long to research without economy techs.

Message from Athlete and Kalin:

Quote:Hello Wise Korea,

How goes the scouting? We have met our warrior outside of Rome and shall continue to travel W hoping to encounter the remaining teams. Can you shed some light as to your knowledge of the land in that direction? Have you met anybody else? We are sandwiched in between the Inca's who are responsible for the destruction of Zulu and the Byzantine's who are one of the strongest teams in the game. Should be fun. If you continue heading east with your warrior you will eventually run into coast which will direct you more NE and into the Inca's and then us.

If there's anything you would like to know just ask smile.

PS. This was the only e-mail I found for Korea. If there's a more appropriate team address please let us know
