I am struck by the irony of Scootinator offering to gift cities away for a nominal payment. I'm sure if they were in Mack's shoes they'd be screaming about unfair gifting breaking the game, if they saw it happen.

Offering to sell from a leader to a trailer, and offering to buy from a trailer to a leader, are considerably different matters. Regardless, I think this is probably just evidence of what happens when somebody previously opened a can of worms, and precedence is set.

Yeah, I'm not saying their offer is unreasonable - unless you judge by the same standard as they were, with similarly incomplete information.

Edit: Although I'm not sure they're *that* different, both sales are to a different team than could conquer the city, and make life harder for a leader.

Can you outline what's wrong? This is pretty cool, to get somebody with the perspective of a player who is still in the game but who can post in the lurker thread about their mindset.

Sad to see such a great team ripped apart. But then again I only know what it looks like on the outside. Sounds like you found the right time to do it though, where you can still be friends, which in my opinion is much more important than the strategice differences over a game, however much invested anybody involved in these Pitbosses rightly is.
