Confirmed, just got back to my computer and it had finished. Seven, it wasn't a memory constraint, my CPU core was maxed out the whole time the script was running. I don't think it's something that needs to be changed to be more efficient, as long as it works I think it's fine. Who cares if we burn a bit of extra energy chewing through extra CPU cycles? Better that than having to dig through the code to change it. But I say that as someone who abhors programming. If you see it as an interesting puzzle to solve, enjoy your work.

Yeah...one of the reasons I rebuilt my PC was it was taking 40 minutes to generate maps using Torusworld. A 4670 makes short work of it though.

Is there a redistributable component which makes this executable for people who haven't set up python and/or Qt? Maybe it's just you cleaning up the code but I like the look of it better in Python than in .Net.
