[SPOILERS] The Rise of Lewger: A BacoN of Bacon Revenge (bacOn bAcoNbAcon) Bacon

Yeah, I feel really bad for you, but I just couldn't grant the reload here. The reloads this game have been due to things like issues with people logging in and trades getting bugged out, and I've already denied a reload request for just a misclick. Since it was a large error I gave you extra consideration, but with a turn already rolling and battle results already taking place elsewhere in the world, I didn't think it wise to roll back.

Yeah well that's why I didn't initially ask for the reload in the first place... which I guess made it worse. But asking for the reload was a bit cathartic in and of itself. So I'm glad I asked even though I thought it'd be a longshot. I don't think I've ever asked for a reload on the basis of a misclick in a pitboss before.

FYI When you have a stack that big, it takes up half the screen, and it's easier to make that kind of mistake, especially at the end of a long day. In the end, The units moved, and I was like... Oh why are they there? And my blood ran cold. My memory was sold. My stack was a centerfold.

Those soft and fuzzy units
Too critical to touch
To see her on that grass workshop
Is really just too much

Scouting with a worker:

He has 1900 gold and can upgrade a fair few units. He got a bit more than I expected. I expect him to put a bunch on the hill and upgrade them to infantry. I mean he'd better. It's what I would do. It could save his hide. Really this looking like it's going to come down to RNG. lol

I have that second stack with 3 rifles and 7 knights just SW of the main stack. Hopefully he attacks it. If he does I can kill any wounded units he uses to do so with the 11 knights poised to strike from 4 tiles away. It would also mean he'd be attacking with units that don't get a chance to upgrade to infantry.

Bah who knows what scooter will do.

In the south he is incoming. Next turn I will offer Azza the Holy City for peace and abandon it. Scooter left his knights in the south for some reason last turn. Fine by me.

I would be i better shape if I moved to the desert tile, but I'm going to be zen about all this. I think at the very least I've made Scooter vulnerable enough that he won't win.

Lewwyn, i dont think you should gift that city to Azza. You're doing it only because Scooter is about to take it, that makes it a spite gift. It's not a move that makes any game sense otherwise.

If you dont agree, at least please hold off until Brick or some other vets chime in.

Azza hasn't accepted peace with me at all. If he accepts peace for that city is that worth it? I am at war. The city sort of is a peace offering, no?

Though it is possible that gifting will speed scooters troops towards the capital by 2 turns due to the first ring culture in a gift... Eh okay. I don't think it is wrong to offer that city to buy peace from Azza, but tactically it would be better to let Scooter capture it.

Oh, if it's a peace deal that should be fine. I would think it'd only be a concern if you were just gifting it at peace.

Well yeah, I wouldn't do that.

So yeah, Scooter put 4 infantry on the hill. They had guerrilla 2. It took 5 CKN, 1 cat, 1 knight, and 5 rifles to kill them. I feel luck that scooter didn't put more rifles on the hill. I don't know why he didn't. Even so at this point I don't know if I can make it. He's got 20 infantry ish in the city now and those knights are on the move. If he didn't have them the city would IMO likely fall. With them I think it stands.

I offered Bacon! to Azza for peace. I checked and I don't have far enough culture push from the capital for it to make a difference in Scooter's troop movements. We'll see if Azza accepts it. Yeah I understand you disapprove Ceil, but I don't see it fully as spite. If I'm going to lose the city, I 's rather that it bought me peace from Azza whose power will soon be greater than my own. Additionally that denies my primary antagonist power. That's not spite. The city would be an extra 200gpt a turn for Scooter. That means more infantry he can upgrade to send at me.
