[spoilers]Oh Canada! Victoria has a Commodore, eh?

Man, my greatest annoyance at PB13 was the inability to read this. With the naval/land warfare essays thrown in, even more awesome than usual.

Glad you enjoy it! Sorry you started next door to the rabid shrew. wink

Confession time! I had some trouble logging in, any once I finally logged in I engaged in ILLEGAL INGAME DIPLOMACY. shhh Accountability screenshot:

I really need to get the lead out and get started on some Wall Street action. Although Ellesmere with the decent MFG looks like a candidate...

...only Montreal is really the option. Islam will probably max out at like three cities but if I can help it I'm gettin' me a Christian shrine here for muchas monehs. It's going to be a painful build, though. I'll actually have to run the numbers and see when/if cash rushing the national wonder is worth it. 600 raw hammers, no doublers, just hurts.

Er...a little confused? SM is useful empire-wide, boosting +2g for every temple and cathedral. It makes Ottawa just a touch more ridiculous, so I'm for it. I'm going to try to skew odds just a little more towards a Great Prophet out of here, I want the Church of the Nativity badly for Wall Street brokatude. Plus, well, nothing but the best possible specialists for my dear capital!

That Other National Wonder is going to be annoying. Ironworks always are. I guess the closest thing we have to a hammer spot is good ole' Toronto. The levee makes some fairly okay hammers; it can steal a couple more tiles from Saskatoon, making a riverside workshop with Biology. This is brutally painful, though...and it's not like I can rush it efficiently, not at Modern Wonder rates.

Been a while, here's a couple overview shots. Still growing a bit in the eastern Greens; just building and getting towns up.

All Canada's got is its GNP. Although it's a sweeeeet GNP...

...GOOD SWEET HOLY MOOSENUTS, MACKOTI! Dat MFG.

In other news, I sent a feeler out to Finarry the Badasses about possibly piling Dtay. Neither WLP (who just slaughtered several Plako cities in Bacchusland) nor Dtay (Aggressive, cheap kanone) are easy targets, but with pile assistance and tanks, all things are possible. I'd rather Finarry share gains than Plako. nod I'll send 'em a blimp or two to map-hack and let them make the determination.

I think this means at least tentatively maybe kinda yes-ish. Mackoti fired his 10-turn-even-he-can't-stab-it-NAP with Finarry and Scooter this past turn, so timing would be good.

*shrug* We'll see. Meanwhile, infra and machine guns....MGs are good this side of tanks, and decent even then, so load 'em up boys.

I'm toying with the hella-expensive build of the SoL. It's going to take Quebec out of commission for a long time, but that's probably okay; not like it's all that impressive *in* commission...

I'm also going to make fluffy's day; I think I'm going to plant 3-4 secret ice bases up in the hinterlands for making my evil invasion peacekeeping fleet.

It's not much of a secret now that you've told us all about it. neenerneener

Will the bases be more like remote naval ports/whaling towns or more like sinister lairs of evil run by some up and coming purveyors of doom and menacing supervillains? Oh wait, you answered that, they're all totally wearing little sky blue peacekeeper helmets. No human rights violations going on here, nope! No invasions either! lol
