How much data does civ use in MP?

I've been wondering, with being restricted to my smartphone for this weekend, how data intensive pitboss is? I'm kicking myself for not bringing my laptop for PBEM, those saves are fairly negligible for size.

How much data does a turn in pitboss take, I guess it would depend on player numbers and game stage.

Not that much. I can't give you a figure but if you do anything like listening to music over the net or even look at short videos I wouldn't be concerned about it; I've used my data plan to play a couple of turns before.
