Pretty early religion. Seems like a settler next might be best. Do we have copper?

We have capital copper! Very nice tile: 1/6/1 with Productive, meaning it contributes 9 HPT(+1 food compared to having 0) to Fast Workers and Work Boats. I followed your advice (not seen above) and went with the Settler, which will allow us to use the great copper hill tile on our Worker instead. (Which should save a turn and thus make up for the turn on the Fast Worker).
The two most obvious places to settle here is on the Hamlet, on the forested hill the Scout is on or 1N of the pigs with another city to pick up the Crabs for Rice sharing, but the last one would need scouting to see if another city is viable. Only real other spots are the other rice sharing city I showed or something like 1N of there.

Settling on the hamlet isn't terrible, provided you can land Hinduism there. It can borrow the GL mine for a 6 modified hammer build towards a workboat. You could probably make that WB faster in the capital though. When is the Settler due?

First off, a showing of this land: 1N of the bottommost Crabs seems like a good city spot. It also means that it is likely that we should settle on the hamlet: One thing about that though is that we would need to research Animal Husbandry to hook up some of the food resources, either delaying Pottery (I feel iffy doing that) or just not having it grow as fast. Another option would be to settle the Double Crab city first (Chopping out a WB there would let it finish instantly, the 2nd could then be easily whipped out).
Settler is in 3T, Polytheism is in 5T. We could delay Polytheism at 1T before completion to try and get the religion in our new city though, at the low risk of losing Hinduism.

Have you any idea who landed Buddhism? I wasn't paying attention to the turnlogs at that point for the score increase. I have to think it was HAK, as he started with Mysticism, unless someone went whole hog and beelined meditation.

Sorry, I didn't notice it until like 2-3 turns after it happened. Judging from the timing though I'd think it was HAK.

Probably safe to delay poly a turn if it was HAK who founded it.

In that case we can delay it until we found a city. Do you think we should found the Hamlet city or the Crab city?

Let me jump into the game and poke around before I can say. you don't mind right? I think it largely depends on how easily the capital can build a wb and if we have enough spare worker turns to improve those resources, if we go for ah.

Feel free to poke around in the game whenever you want, Wetbandit.
