About that Archer thingy. I was really just sick of you two fighting about it. Wanted to avoid a reload, because a reload might fix that particular thing, but creates fifty more unfair moves because people have information from 2 following turns already. I didn't even know you had whipped an archer and that it mattered that much to you. You didn't tell me anything about the war, remember?  Anyway what's done is done.

Sullla's score went up 21 points this interturn, so that's lookin awfully wonder-y! We can only hope it's the Henge and not the Oracle!
Plako went up 11 - land? Or rounding from a Classical tech?
IKZ went up 12 - I bet it's IW - sent them an email asking if they've seen iron in/near our lands

We have heard through the grapevine that Jowy has iron hooked up. Speaker to Sunrise to me to you. Makes Jowy's latest email to us "nope don't have any copper so can't help you" all the more lame!

I had 2 options for Spiros - NW onto his current tile or N on to the tile 1E.
Naturally I picked the one that had a combat 2 barb warrior (at 1.6/2 health) in the fog 
But in way bigger news, check out the bottom right corner.

Even more specifically, that little symbol to the right of his name.
WE ALREADY ARE CONNECTED AND I CHECKED AND HE DOES HAVE IRON HE COULD TRADE US!
Now, according to Sunrise we would still have to get IW to make use of it, but we could be in business.
Growth next turn and although it says Oracle in 3, really Oracle in 2.
Also, no wonders built so Sullla's increase must have been land points. Actually it is Turn 70, so civs that did not move to settle and whose capitals have not gotten any culture in the meantime should get their land points this turn?

In case someone else plays T71, the big thing to do is after we grow, assign the citizens to the crabs / a plains forest (1/2) and 2 plains hills (0/2). Should give us 7 hammers and complete the Oracle in 1.

Okay, I think we need a diplo blitz. Just because Jowy isn't listenign to us doesn't mean he won't listen to others. I recommend we get Sulla/Speaker to encourage him to loan us his Iron for 10 turns. I am pretty darn sure they would want that and would work towards it. Anyone else?

Well, I know you can trade resources to the AI even if they don't have the tech for it yet, why not the other way around? We can't build Swords, but we coudl build Spears.

The only other folks we know are IKZ. I was talking to Broker today and he has met Jowy (Jowy and Athlete have met everyone), but I don't know if we can officially ask him to ask him to do that. But we might be able to accomplish something with a wink and a nudge :-D

I'll do a WB test on this some time today. If we can still do Spears without I/W, and we can get Jowy's Iron, then we can take HBR with the Oracle! Much better tech, and 2 spears should be able to clean up things in Athens, and then it's on to Horse Archers!
Still a bit too many "ifs" in there, but at least things are looking up a bit more than they were 10-20 turns ago!
