The lurker civ should be careful to keep the Great Spies only in defogged areas, ideally shadowing other civs' units.

Darrell moved a spear 2N of Black Stallion, next to two workers, which he knew were there. He doesn't know we have an axe in there though. This is the first aggressive act we've seen. It's clearly Mindy-style diplo: the kindest thing it could be is him trying to disrupt worker micro with a threat.

Option 3 is move the axe onto the tile his unit is on, to show that we probably could have killed him but didn't, leaving 1 worker open if he wants to trade his spear to kill one.

edit: whoops, willy pointed out in thread (before i posted this ) that a wardec would teleport the spear. likely back into his own land.

option 3 leaves the city undefended, if there happens to be an axe in the fog N of the spear, goodbye Stallion. (Darrel spear takes workers, axe moves to forest 1N of workers, Will axe has no good choices.)

The barbarians turn their attention to Bacchus.

Ichabod is also being invaded by barbs, though with slightly better technology on hand.

Ruff produces a Chariot, Q retreats a Warrior.

Just realised Dhal appears to be on his own island. May be old news to everyone else, but I haven't been following this closely until recently.

Also just realised for the first time that the 3 players I've been subbing for are not only on the same continent, but are near neighbours. Shows how much attention I've been paying to the fog.

The Race against The Oracle: Dtay to ignore it least

Try to land Oracle: This one's a bit more interesting--only Hashoosh got Industrious and Mysticism (remember Korea doesn't start with Mysticism anymore), and I have no clue what he's doing. What would I Oracle though? Metal Casting I guess, even though it's not as good since its cost decreased. Still though, I'm surprised it hasn't fallen yet--and where would I build it? Theros I guess?

Speaking of which, The Oracle mass paralysis has officially happened. Even the most half-assed micro plans in mediocre positions can get it way before T65. Fortune would have favored the bold on this one, that's for sure. Maybe it still will. The main bottleneck for us making a stab at something like that is Masonry, since getting to Math and Calendar is so valuable right now.

I mostly have the Oracle-Sailing dance worked out. Brady will 2 pop whip a settler just in time to get on board a galley made right after sailing (by overflowing hammers from a granary whip then whipping the galley. That will get the Settler over to the Marble Island, settled unfortunately if I'm doing my math right 1 turn after I get priesthood. Right as marble comes in I'll then chop 4 forests and overflow a granary whip into the Oracle, getting 120 hammers from the forests and 30 from the granary overflow and actual hammer production (~40 hammers overflowed, cut down to ~20 by the granary multiplier, then multiplied by 1.5 from the marble to get to ~30). The squiggles are cause I forget the precise amounts, but it crosses the thresholds.

I was joking about Bacchus having barb trouble before, since I figured he'd whip that Archer. But he's genuinely in a bit of trouble now.

Pretty sure HAK isn't going to break through Jowy's masses of Archers before Catapults. Definitely think he should pillage the land and focus his efforts elsewhere.

yes but hak and jowy are 31 and 34 in crop yield, even a clean kill with swords wouldnt save him now. Who's 32 and 33? No idea.
