Hey Yuris, sorry for disappearing, I just had to take care of something. Now where were we?
 Cats are top attackers. I'll never wage war without cats ever again..  This is how his defense looked after 6 catapult attacks. Chartres fell shortly after. Lost 1 cat. I decided to annex Chartres, I think it's safe to say Yuris won't be able to land a counter attack.  Toulouse and Dijon are both defended by 1 axe, I have a ministack ready to attack both next turn. Main stack will head south. Hey, I might not be the first one eliminated after all, and not just because of luck

I had the odds on him but still lost 1 HA. Yuris earned a Great General from that. Burned down the city.  Same story here, had odds but lost 1 HA anyway. Kept this city since it's behind Chartres. The Great General spawned in this city, so now it's dead.  Yuris' lands. Furungy just invaded from the south.
I razed Strasbourg. The reason why I'm not keeping these cities is because they're small re-planted cities from earlier, and more importantly I need some buffer between myself and Gawdzak so he doesn't just continue against me after Yuris is dead.
 Speaking of which, Yuris might be eliminated next turn.
Aside from removing yuri from the game, how well have you managed your war objectives and how much have you profited from the war?
Note: "Fun" is not to be discounted. 
That is an interesting topic Boldly. About 4 paragraphs into my reply I realized I should save it till the end of the game.
