I just managed to make it through your thread, thanks for a great read! If only we'd offered you sugar when we first met you bang.

Thanks also for the compliments - I agree we screwed up bulbing Philosophy, but I'm sure we did plenty of other stuff wrong even before I was struggling at the end. For why we were so aggressive - we wanted to win the game and the only way that was likely to happen was to cripple you shakehead. Also Peterloo was the buffer for our core, which you fairly aggressively took out, so we looked for more and more desperate ways to hit you, all of which you had a counter to duh. Later on there was a point (turn 252) where we could have razed five of your cities with commandos, but we stuck to the NAP (even though I was a bit dubious that NAPs are in the spirit of AI diplo) partly because it was too late to make any difference to us, but mostly because you'd have annihilated us... lol

I think you complained about your start about as much as we did, but your second and fourth cities were ones we could only dream of (I rated everyone's starts here - it'd be interesting to know if you disagree and if you think they really matter, given that how your neighbours treat you seemed to be the biggest factor in this game). The things I saw that really made your game were just how much you surprised MH and your picking up the juicy spoils every time we got near to hurting Suttree (I was angry at Suttree about the city gift but thought it was another example of where you knew what buttons to push). I was surprised you didn't go after Azza to establish a foothold on PB8-continent from where you could project your superior land power, but perhaps the three-way contest with Plako was problematic for you?

Shame we couldn't make it to the space race, I wasn't tracking anything - are you sure you'd have won (if Scooter could play on properly?)

Finally do you mind if I have a look around your civ? I want to know what was on those boats... Made me so paranoid!

Luckily for me gaspar answer went very late so i dont have to do any reports.Gaspar you are too good.

Ha! Nadal is my favourite as well. From play style I would say that you definitely resemble someone who plays more aggressively towards the net, but maybe the fighting mentality of Nadal is the key here?

I guess we are taking it as a compliment that you did not consider us as pleasant neighbors, rest assured, the feeling was mutual! lol
Finished:
PBEM 45G, PB 13, PB 18, PB 38 & PB 49

Top 3 favorite turns:
#1, #2, #3

If scoter would had play properly from now he still would had under 5% chanse to win if he wouldplayed from like 40 turns ago (at least if i was playing from his position, dont know how scooter id familiar with space race, i done few of those), i think he would had an over 70% to win : more land , beter land, beter leader.so yeah depends what time you refer at.
Fintourist , about nadal , i think i take less risk like anyone else and go for the atack just when i am 90% sure of victory, i think atack on you guys is one of the few on my Rb which didnt succeded, was realy a novel for me.

About boats, many of them very empy(i had to look dangerous so people be scared of me), i realy didnt wanted too much fight, becasue of time constarins.
