Currency in... I'm gaining a huge amount of extra gpt from it. I'm actually up to 4th place GNP if I put my research at 100%. Two cities going down next turn, another a few turns after that. Settler and worker production on full steam ahead. I'll do a more thorough update next turn, T100.

The expected attack from Haram never came... in fact, his power barely budged at all. Can breath a little easier...

Only 10 workers and 40 pop, although I did whip a bit this turn. I'm playing crazy crazy catchup; need to puke out settlers and workers ASAP. Especially need workers in the east and northeast. Luckily, I have solid infrastructure already down pretty much everywhere, with the capital's market the last real piece of the near-term puzzle. The settler for City 11 is going down in the far east in 3 turns I think, once I clear out the last few barbs.

I'm building wealth wherever I need to grow, with the intent to tech IW (lest nightmares of PB18 return here) -> Med -> PH -> Monarchy -> CoL -> Feudalism -> MC -> Machinery -> Guilds -> yeah right like I'll ever live long enough to make it this far. Basically, I need freaking monarchy as a +3 happy Cha civ because that Silver is the only happy I've seen that I've even had a chance at grabbing. Fur, Ivory, Silk, and Whale, the Imp market doublers - don't have a single one. In contrast, Haram has every single hunting/mining happy resource nearby, plus a spare fur to trade for Seven's spare dye, oh yeah and at least two calendar resources:




Ugh. He's also boxed off a ton of land to leisurely backfill; he hit Currency way before I did thanks to all those commerce tiles, and I'm sure he's even more heavily cottaged than I am. That said, I've walled off a fair bit of land to backfill myself:




Although, hopefully HAK doesn't try to grab any of it himself. If he does, it would seem likely that he'd get the sugar and spices, leaving me with just Silver as my only happy resource.

Have a scout popping out in 2T to explore haramland (haven't been able to spare a chariot yet, as there's been just a constant stream of barb warriors and axemen in the NE), and am sending The Pet Semetarian out to explore HAK's territory.

This is the 4th chariot vs axeman fight I've lost this game. This one is a particular pain in the ass because the axe and warrior were heading down to the southern city, where I had 3 chariots, as you can see in my last T100 screenshot, but then reversed direction back to the northern city once I settled it. So, I only had one chariot available, and it lost. Only 80% odds this time though, what am I complaining about!
