Espionage gives plenty of info, but you have to spend resources on it for most of what it gives out, other than analyzing mission prices for stuff.
There was a bug in the version they used, so the demographics screen didn't work either.
I have to run.

There were actually 2 games that used No Score mod. The first just muted the demo screen...and did nothing compared to tech trading or full diplo, and the other went further and essentially nuked F9, causing a crash every time you tried to access it. But as mack just said, the full data mining of every available resource that some do isn't as important as being able to make the right decisions with that info, and usually charts are enough. Charts don't even cost much, not even requiring the slider in most games, and maybe 1 turn of 10-20% slider if you need them unexpectedly.

Ahh, I remember reading the F9 crash game here.
All the noscore games I played in were elsewhere (CFC, tacgamer, etc). The initial versions gave 1pt/wonder, later it was just 1pt per civ, changing to 2pts if you finished researching a future tech. Demo screens didn't work at all in any of them.

No time Maybe after the new year. That would give enough time for some other slaves kind people to basically finish the RtR mod civs, start techs and work boat beta release.

Reporting in this game really has gone downhill. Seems like it's Retep vs Gawdzak with Barteq as an unknown quality. With Gawdzak's Org and Byzantium vs Retep's Cha/Pro seems Gawd has the advantage. I'd guess Azza would be an easier neighbour to attack than Zanth or Gavagai though, maybe Retep could benefit there. Still, I think Gawdzak will come out on top here. Anyone got an underdog pick?
