Ah, thank you TBS, you logged in to play just before I could! Didn't need to be covered until tomorrow, but I appreciate you playing today anyways because I'm super busy and was stressing about when I'd find time to play at all.
Anyways, I'll leave it to you, feel free to do whatever. What I had been planning in the short-term:
- Switch into Monarchy ASAP, as we have no other sources of happiness and we've been growth-limited by happycap for a very long time.
- keep REXing into the NE area as fast as possible.
- try to keep lots of wealth builds rotating around once the latest batch of settlers are in

Heh, didn't see your post but came to the same conclusion about monarchy anyway.
On the topic of those settlers:
The northern fish/pig city was a sign left by you. Given Seven is there already, it's possibly first ring for him and he's Cre, I doubt it's worth fighting for the fish, I'll probably go with my 'or here' sign.
You didn't leave any tech instructions so I selected Compass for the moment, 80h wharfs seem like a good thing to grow on in a number of cities.

Ah, if Seven is already there, then it is certainly not worth fighting him for those fish. I made those signs quite some time ago. The "or here" sign is definitely the way to go then.
Compass sounds good. It would be great to get some wharves up ASAP in many of the coastal cities.

Two new cities this turn:
I figure it's best to wait for the barb city to grow in 8 turns and take it, rather than build a settler for 1W. So, latest settler for the 'or here' spot and then I need to build 1 more for the north west.
Overview:
Saving a lot of overflow in 3 cities for quick wharfs. I'm thinking maybe something military next in techs. Construction for something that won't obsolete so soon and/or archery for cheap military police.
Accepted OBs with Mack, Gawd and Donovan.

Looking good! I agree about waiting on the barb city (very lucky that popped up right there) and the "or here" spot for the next settler. My tech preference would be archery -> construction. How many cities do Mack and Gawdak have? A million? A million and a half? What does Haram's power look like?

Archery it is.
19 cities for Gawdzak, 17 for mackoti, 16 for Parkin, Seven and Wetbandit. We'll have 17 after adding the barb city and the last two in the north. Seven took another city off HAK IIRC.
Haram's power has been constantly ahead of us like before you left, but not growing too quickly. He just finished compass, so I expect he was/is building wharfs instead of military units. I was going to send the chariot built in oldtricycle into his territory to give more notice if he started building up.

Also, seems like Mack is up to something:

Yikes, looks like we're falling behind a bit on soldiers. I guess the tech boost from Archery will help a bit.
By the way, I'm coming back Monday evening PST, and should be able to take over again then. Thanks so much for covering for me here! I really owe you one big time.
