RB Pitboss #2 [SPOILERS] - Gandhi of Korea (Broker33 & plako)

Spies would be nice. I really hate that they are banned from this game.

I'm going to put most of the forces between the cities and especially put a unit in the forested hill you mentioned.

After the Kodii's message in the IT thread I've started to wonder, if we've read the situation wrongly and the current target of Whosit is actually Kodii. I did send a message to Nakor asking about this. If somehow possible, we should get in contact with Kodii's nation as soon as possible.

I did start Maths, but I'll switch that to Masonry. We start to have the numbers to make walls a good build. Nakor told that Kodiii isn't at war currently so he probably did have barb problems.

Hi and welcome to follow our thread.

We might be next to go, if Whosit really starts to spam Praetorians. There really aren't decent counter for them until we get to Hwacha's, but that is far away.

Whosit declared and Pyongyang is in danger. I also miscliked and the Chariot moved behind the city. However this might not be that important. I'm chopping around Pyongyang and getting another axe out next turn, but can't promote before Whosit so there are 3 axes+3 archers against 7 praetorians+1 Axe. Not that favourable odds for us. Only good RNG luck will save it. Good ideas are welcomed.

You might wonder why am I building Library in Seoul. I'm planning 2 pop whip axe there to get 2 axes out in 2 turns. The hammer overflow is too high this turn to allow this.

As per the new rules voted in, we will split the turn clock 12/12. Because I moved first, I assume that I will take the first half, and you will take the second.

May the strongest empire survive.

That's rather unfortunate about the chariot. You could have held it a turn by winning only 1 battle frown.

2 battles, actually: Whosit has 8 attackers, to what would be 7 defenders. However, with a chariot and an axe in range, you might be able to retake P'yong if he keeps it.

A praetorian needs to be seriously damage for a chariot to have a chance against it, so it might be better away to try to harass the roman army.

Retaking the city might not be the best idea, there would (probably) be relatively healthy (and/or newly promoted) preatorian to clean the retakers afterward.
Depending on how nice the RNG is, it might be better to regroup to hold the other cities (and do a much brutal counter-strike later) than sacrifice 2 axes (depending if you think you can and want to exchange them for 2 injured praet)

If I get positive odds in counter attack against Praet I'm almost certain to take it. However axe is behind the river so it might I get decent odds only for Chariot.

Another thought for the chariot is taking out those road connections that he's using to move directly into your territory with.

Delays him 1 turn and gives you sight for one turn. I'm sure someone else will chime in how infesible it is though. :-\
