Sorry, I knew Thoth usually played around then, but with only 3 hours left and I wouldn't be able to repause myself if that ticked down, pausing felt like the safest option.

So ... is AP/diplo victory allowed? I had assumed not, but recent events have caused me to check my assumptions and I don't see any mention on the first page.

I must have missed where John Wayne fit into the Hindu canon when I learned about it in school...
...the settings for this game are a fairly ringing indictment of not rushing through the setup process. Whatever any of us were thinking at 200+ tiles per player is more stunning than allowing Religious/Diplo Victory to remain unbanned. But this is a topic for another day.
