I've been negotiating for peace with Whosit. Here are some of the messages:

Me:

Your war efforts did start way too well for our liking. Would you be intrested in peace and in which terms or should we start whipping our cities into oblivion?

Whosit:

Well, as you might imagine, I feel that I'm in a fairly strong position, all things considered. Should you whip your cities to the breaking point, it would surely cause me some annoyance, but I don't think that it would stop me. I won't dismiss a diplomatic solution to our conflict out of hand, but I would like to know what, if anything, you are offering me for peace.

I had to ask comment from Broker, but preliminarily would city of
Wonsan + long NAP be alright?

Whosit:

Never let it be said that the Galactic Empire is an ungracious winner. Your terms are a very good starting point, although we would like to add a few small additions:

*Control of Wonsan is turned over the Empire.*
-The Empire is granted settling rights to the area North of Wonsan and East of Nar Shaddaa.
-The Empire is granted settling rights to the strip of land directly North of Nar Shaddaa.
-The Empire will not settle west of Nar Shaddaa.
-Korea will not direct additional Espionage Points towards the Empire for the duration of the Non-Aggression Pact.
-Korea will gift a Worker to the Empire.

Regarding the NAP itself, is a 50 turn agreement that lasts until Turn 135 acceptable? We are willing to discuss the exact length. We do hope that these terms are agreeable to you. No more blood need be shed.

No worker let him build his own.

Settling rights I have no problem with that since we are conceeding the main land but you would have a better view of the map I am assuming Nar Shaddaa is our old city. He is trying to cut us off from the central sea but I dont see how we can stop that.

Espionage points. He must also agree to spend nothing more on us.

Me:

This could be acceptable with small changes.

We consider gifting worker as a deal breaker and you shouldn't allocate espionage points towards us either. I would also extend the NAP to last until turn 150.

Whosit:

Very well. I will drop the request for a Worker and will accept a NAP until Turn 150. However, considering the fact that you currently have more Espionage Points against us, I think that it is only fair that I retain the option to match, but not exceed, your current total. The other conditions stand.

The current proposal:

-The Empire gains Wonsan.
-The Empire gains settling rights North of Wonsan and North of Nar Shaddaa.
-The Empire will not settle West of Nar Shaddaa.
-The Empire may match, but not exceed, Korean Espionage Points.
-NAP until Turn 150.

If this is acceptable, please let me know and go ahead and offer the official peace deal in-game. I am sure that we are both eager to move ahead on the path to recovery.

One more thing that I forgot to include in the last message. Although you already destroyed the mine south of Nar Shaddaa, please refrain from pillaging additional improvements that will fall within my borders.

We'll think about this and try to give you answer before turn ends. Meanwhile we won't be pillaging.

I gave Wonsan out and we've peace again. I decided to whip settler and settle the island city immediately. I strongly considered whipping Wonsan to size 1, but decided that there is no need to annoy Whosit any more than this.

I also switched our research towards Monarchy. We need big cities now that the number of them will be very limited.

I think we need to scout that island se of ours. Maybe drop an axe over there to look around. We should try to settle as many of the islands that we can find it may be our only chance at having good land to expand into. I am thinking grab it while the mainland is still being expanded into.

Have you considered heading torwards the Great Lighthouse and Colossus and running a water based economy?

As much I think the GL would be very nice, building cities should be a priority for them right now as they have 2 compared to 4-6 for the other surviving civs.

Pyongyang has been refounded on the island and I landed Chariot on the other island that doesn't look as appealing as the one we've settled already. I see Green border south from the island that is quite probably Kalin/Athelete team border.

I think we did the right desicion with peace and city gifting. Whosit has currently double the power of ours, which probably means 10-11 Praets. However he might be only one behind us in GNP (Yes we're not the last one).
