I'm not 100% sure, as the RtR mod uses a modded .DLL file which I think would require you to to use bootcamp? But I am a really bad source of that information.

I'll throw my name in here as a low level mentor if someone wants. I can help someone fairly green who wants to learn the basic mechanics of how to play a competitive game. For someone more advanced seeking the "it" factor to be able to win an open skill-level game here, there are many on the list better.
My strengths are a fairly solid knowledge of game mechanics, opening sims, tactical combat, and being decent at reading what's going on in the game. My areas for improvement are strategic combat especially in the later game, planning and micro for advanced and specific races and civ goals, and instinct for when take risks. My disposition is to play for the worst case, passively and safe, which is both a strength and a weakness.

Both this mod and Seven's require Windows (I have a Mac).

I've just got to your thread in my catch-up of pitboss18 (about a third of the way through currently) and there have definitely been some interesting and thought-provoking discussions. And as for your passive & safe tendency, if you bring Mindy along for the ride you can be the Angel and Devil on the Green's shoulders!
BTW, I'd be quite happy to form a Green partnership with one of the Mac guys who cant play directly and share a mentor.

I did a bit of preliminary work on a map, but I think the number of players is changing due to mods and stuff so that can be shelved.
I do have the game dimensions on hand, so really a good hour is just spent regenerating the map script for nice maps to edit.
What I'll do is let you guys sort that out, really need to organise yourselves on this. When you've gotten things sorted, someone drop me a PM.
Pindicator: I can't stream on this internet connection because upload speeds suck, but if you want to hit me up on chat sometime we can talk about hte map creation stuff?

I guess the question is: Who is going to be the admin for this game?
Is the normal process for an admin to be a player? Or should it be someone who is not playing?

I guess cal gets to make the call on how many teams we are, unless anyone wants to club together? What # players did you start to set up for krill? For more general setup questions (map size, events, huts, bans) I think we need to give krill as much leeway as he wants.
As for an admin during the game, its a bit of a poisoned chalice. Hopefully there will be some lurkers available if disputes arise, but if everyone can just agree not to be dicks they shouldn't be needed.
Completed: RB Demogame - Gillette, PBEM46, Pitboss 13, Pitboss 18, Pitboss 30, Pitboss 31, Pitboss 38, Pitboss 42, Pitboss 46, Pitboss 52 (Pindicator's game), Pitboss 57
In progress: Rimworld
