So the only rational decision I have is to make a maximum damage to Mardoc to speed up the game's end and concentrate on another games.

Boy, did you get that wrong! The only reason the game lasted as long as it did was me enjoying fighting against Rome. If you hadn't kicked it off, you were close enough to me tech-wise and in Power that I was afraid to start anything. I'd have still conceded the turn Zanth attacked 2metra, back on the 7th, and I wouldn't have withdrawn my concession if I was just staring you down.

Good fight. I think you were over-scared of Infantry, you probably could have stopped me outside Cumae instead of burning down your empire. Especially if you had promoted your cavalry all Flanking II. But your naval alpha strike was beautiful.

I don't think so. You GNP was bigger than my by absolute value and by increase dynamic. I had no chances to come up with you and my only chance to stop you was naval attack before your massive upgrade to MG and Infantries. Later events doesn't make any sense at all.

It depends on how you're counting things. The attack did more damage to me than a later one would have, yes. And definitely more than letting me get the first strike. But it had no relation to ending the game, at least from my end. I already knew I wasn't going to win, really, and getting an actual war was fun.

I guess I'm saying it made sense in-game, but you got my personality wrong. I got more fun and focus than I would have had just hitting end turn and waiting for others to surrender to Zanth.
