CivFR crippled themselves by spending their GA with using a lot of gold to tech to military techs and to upgrade HAs to knights. Plus they failed to take anything from Spaniards except one border ex-barb city, so they stayd at their original land and spent 1000's of gold non-optimal. I dont know if it was the right strategy in first place to threaten us with war asking about half the Spanish lands with the made-up reason "we were planning to attack Spaniards too" lol

Still I can not go by by not saing it is my deep and firm belief Sommers is great guy, maybe it just happened he used his lawyer skills in arguing outside the court (like if someone trained to kill as part of his job - soldier, or martial arts - happens to kill someone in a bar fight where it is not clear who is guilty, the trained guy will always get way worse sentence for using his powers ) If you (and others here) could had met and got to know him in other circumstances, I think your opinions would had been greatly different.

OK, I realize for some guys who are prejudiced about me and/or Sommers, my opinion on him might only make their opinion worse like "bad vouch for worse", but let me bring another example. Just as a little known fact. I think there is no guy around who can not say that Caledorn is a great chap and nicest guy. (After all Cal and Mack were the only 2 guys excluded from "Death to CFC", right? lol) What would you say if I tell you Sommers and Cal are biggest best online friends and till very recently Cal's signature at CFC was "Sommerswerd's protegee". What you say about this? How it happens the most loveable and nice guy Cal is in mad love for the perceived bad guy Sommers? I think this will give you a hint there is something more to the story about what Sommers nature is.
