Elum is kinda screwed. T25, only hooked one food resource and it's a 4 food tile, 1 worker, needs a work boat. I imagine he needs to spend 4 turns moving to a forest and chopping to hook that fish up. I expect him to fall behind now.

He doesn't even have the fish hooked or a WB in the queue on his T36 sim where he's chopped every forest down.

I think Greece would have probably work out better for him here. With a plains hill plant and a forested plains hill first ring, going wb first is acceptable. Who cares about uniques anyways. :>

I think that settling on the northern floodplain in Caledorn's thread is definitely the way to go. I don't think it complicates the dotmap at all; it still leaves space for the uber-Moai city to the east and, in the west, the first-ring pigs opens up a culture-bridge to a city that grabs 2nd-ring cows and 2nd-ring fish further west.

I don't even consider PB22 to be a real game, like PB3 wasn't. It's more like a chore (although in the PB3 case that chore was waxing your own eyeballs or mopping the floor with a bucket of shit and stale vomit).
