I wonder if cats will be ready when the Praets arrive? How many do you need to stop 8 veteran praets?

Noticed that Dantski intends to split his stack into 2, going after the capital and the coastal city... Wonder how big the capital stack will be?

Lots of armies coming in... it's going to be ugly?

The CoW has to fall back to plan b and pillage Spulla back to the stone age, and wait for Praets before attempting any city assaults.

Also, they might as well break the NAPs and attack now seeing as it's all terribly obvious anyway.

Personally I wouldn't consider that a valid excuse for breaking a NAP.

And looking at Pitboss #1, I think there are plenty of examples of people obviously intending to go to war but still waiting for their NAPs to expire.

Well given that all but ploker & Inca are in on the dogpile, I don't think the fall out from NAPstabbing the runaway leader will be too high.

My opinion obviously matters little, since it is very unlikely that I'll be playing in any future pitboss games here. But I would be reluctant to enter into an alliance or any other kind of binding agreement with someone who previously broke a NAP. If a NAP is to be interpreted as "we won't attack you, unless it happens to suit us, or you become more powerful than us", then what's the point in signing one at all?

Interesting choice of words here (my bolding) ...

We could have easily have hid our units better if we had known what was happening. Anyways upon further reflection I'm also upset that they found out this way. I was OK with Spulla getting blindsided by us but now that they know we're coming I almost feel a bit sheepish and ashamed...kind of like they way a child would when they let down their role model so to speak...kind of silly huh? bang

What he said. Shady diplomacy is the ONLY thing I would carry over from one game to another. I got the impression from the Apolyton demogame that the MP community sees NAPs as binding (and in the case of Spain rules are explicit on this). I would expect the RB community to be at least as honorable smile.

Which is why I think one shouldn't sign a NAP as soon as you meet another team...
