[Spoilers] The Network assimilates ipecac, Ruff_Hi & Dreylin (Monty of Vikings)

Also on the Elum front; put both Axes in the Jungle and add a Worker to Riad - that could let us raze the city across the cows with a Chariot...

We'll need more Triremes, and can't produce them locally right now...

nod I'm thinking Spear to Sheep on hill where it can reinforce ZIF or Network Bridge as needed.

Did you mean to not end turn?

Was just working out the numbers: if we grab the settler, Adrien has an ~8.6% chance to take Access Point. If you're fine with that, the die is cast! hammer

Misc: Axe in the Hub (already has some hammers invested), Chariot in 2.5", Trireme in Smurf. Should I assume for Planning that Warrior-building is not possible?

Surprised the odds are that high with 3Axes and Hill bonus, but I think he'd be silly to try the attack... (Prepares for famous last words <duck>)

I think we grab the Settler - he wants to hurt us, let's hurt him in turn! hammer

Edit: I think we delete the Worker as well - we have plenty, and if we want to transport both the Warrior and Chariot next turn we won't be able to pick it up.

So...naval mechanics don't quite work the way we thought they did..

Shall we move the Galley back and unload the warrior?
Reply

Hmmmm, I think not. Let's unload him back in the city and not take the risk. Maybe if we feel safe enough and can hide some units onboard that he hasn't seen, but right now I think we're better playing it safe.

If he's tricksy, he could refill the galleys from the fog next turn, and on the subsequent turn hit us amphibiously as well. Will we have enough gold next turn to upgrade the Warrior?

We probably also need to 1t another Axe - which may mean a dry whip frown

Okay.

We will have 6+39 gold, and need 80 to upgrade. Shall we apply for a loan from CH and/or johns?

We can't dry whip an Axe with only 5 pop, which he was probably counting on. Fortunately we had that chop..
