OK, I've gotten a version of hte mod essentially working, however these are the changes that need implementing prior to a test game going ahead:
- Work boat and pier system need.
- 2 hammer capitals needs integrating (already implemented but not expressed in XML or active as yet)
- PHI free settled Great Person effect.
- IND double national wonders.
The only additional effects that need doing but can wait, are:
- Maximum shrine output (or a specific limit on the extra yield output of a building)
- The building exclusivity of the harbour replacements
So, really close to having a testable version of the mod. I'll try and get hte changelog together now and make sure it's accurate.

(If you change Communism's name, remember to change the tech-quote as well, even if you can't get a soundfile to go along with it.)

I won'tt be changing Communism's name; the tech is moved to after Nationalism, but the name can stay. A new tech, named Geology at present, has been created to exist when Communism originally did on the tech tree.

I think there's a good quote about science being made of mistakes in Journey to the center of the earth, I can look it up if you want a quote for Geology

Krill, have you considered stripping the free buildings/pop from late-era starts (and bringing down the settler cost as a result)? I'm pretty sure this is how it worked pre-BTS, and creates a more interesting gameplay than the current system, IMO.

No worries, you'd be surprised the number of stupid mistakes I make going through this, dropping it for a few weeks before picking it up again.

Works for me...if you know where it goes. I think it's either a quote like that or something corny like Being between a rock and a hard place.

Yes oh god yes I'd change everything back to the way it was in Warlords before Blake fucked everything up for late era starts.

Science is built upon many errors ; but they are errors which are good to fall into, for they slowly lead to the truth

I agree, enough so that in private games I've gone through and given ancient-era opponents all the techs rather than use the standard system. Actually, is it a small enough change to warrant RtR? Because that would make my day

I don't know where the changed are, they are deep rooted such as what buildings you get for free from cities and I don't know where the settler cost is altered. If I knew where the changed were, I'd change it now.
