Wasn't complaining about either, I really do mean it, just happens sometimes. Having a 4/1/0 tile vs. a 5/0/0 tile! Heavens, I'm doomed!

Okay, so I think it was fixed, but for next turn's peace of mind...the Oracle bug was fixed, correct?

I THINK I remember oracling in pb18 without a problem, but I can't say for sure... I hit the oracle bug with liberalism in PB13 and am trying to remember whether I'm eliding two incidents or not.
That I'm talking abotu this through purely personal experience says something about me and free-tech FTBs...

Things I Think - The Observations of Dtay
Logged in, put tech on Metal Casting as a placeholder until we see result next turn, and had to select a build for Heir, went with Chariot but don't know if there's a plan there / I didn't think much about it
Of course, we can get free BUDDHISM spreads
Still worth culture I guess
Need to whip or improve some grassland hills here I think
Relatedly - I think we could use 1-2 more workers, 1:1 ratio too low as a heuristic, and moreso when we have this absurd happy cap
Power in line with neighbors, some of that is our teching of archery but they don't know that
Demos are awesome, AND with #3 soldier count to boot, so we're not even really farmer-gambitting anymore, nice
Notably this means when we bulb Math into Oracle Currency... yeah don't think that won't be noticed by the field. Won't know precisely what we did, but it'll be lots of points
Finally... wanna get another great scientist in the capital? Maybe turn it off in a bit to let a Great Prophet come out of cobra post oracle, but that'll be slow until we can get a religion spread and then a temple there. But no tiles to work in the cap and at happy cap to food cost is pretty bearable. Alternatively we could whip off some pop into workers and settler.
So coin's flip chance of super sweet gambit... go Phi!

So coin's flip chance of super sweet gambit... go Phi! Good stuff; I agree about the workers needed, although the next two cities (Deadman, Angelmass) will just need work boats to get started. We're good power, but we need more, because I'm sure Retep hates that (liberate) sign every time he sees it. Plus score worries...
So...we did it. Isaac Newton, appropriately, discovered Mathematics for us, turn 76, 975 BC. May Vishnu, Shiva, and Brahma have mercy on our souls.
Welcome to the Classical Era
I do love it when a plan comes together. With Marble and Mathematics, this is really really dirt cheap. Sucks if we have to direct this into a library, boy I hope we win the coinflip.
Score is looking kind of scary already, yeesh this is dangerous. Plus side, Math gives us #1 in soldiers!
I, um...timed a lot of chops to come in this turn. ![mischief mischief](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/mischief.gif) Math has already gained us 50h from the bulb this turn.
Want the whales ASAP, need more happy!

Currency ahoy
Had to set production here, given tile status whipping a worker seemed reasonable, feel free to change
Also had to set production here, this one was pretty random choice cause we just need it to grow
ALSO here
Since need workboat in 10 for the whales, and nothing it could accomplish as far as I can think of with the extra 4 (3 with movement) turns in the meantime
Right now 40 turns to prophet, we probably want to get a temple here, which to force is gonna require meditation for a monastery and then missionary and then temple, or mono for OR (maybe switch with golden age from a capital GS), then missionary then temple (ideally ASAP to get more prophet point out of golden age, but it'd be tight).
Post currency demos - tops in GNP by abotu 50%, despite being on 0% research
And perhaps the 2nd biggest news, Retep attacks grimace?!?
Down here
This has been another set of observations from dtay. This time borne of impatience
ORACLE!
