RtR mod 2.0.7.6

This is, I believe, essentially the same bug. Which doesn't really help me much because I can't remember what the fix was.

I don't know the code details, nor anything about the reason, but base BtS has a bug similar to what Elum is describing as well. The actual hammer yield for any given whip is correct ... but if you have the right (wrong?) multipliers and just barely enough hammers in the build to permit an N-pop whip, the game will force you to whip away N+1 pop instead, resulting in lots of overflow.

[EDIT: I figured out a quick way to search for my post detailing the bug back in my PB3 thread, here: http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/showthrea...6#pid82546 ... and, as I discovered at that time, it's completely loony.]

That's great, RefSteel. So it's a BTS bug that may even be more noticeable when multipliers are not multiples of 25%.

Just because it's a BTS bug that doesn't mean we can't try to fix it, of course.
I have to run.

I'm not playing in the game, but as it seems that this behaviour is part of the base game, even if it is a bug, we can try to fix it but I doubt we can get it done before PB23 would start. So I suppose that's up to you players what to do in this specific instance.

Dunno if this helps, but it turns out T-Hawk posted this later on in our thread, trying to identify the cause of the bug. I don't know if that's where it actually arises, nevermind how to fix it if so, but in case T-Hawk's years-ago guess is illuminating for someone who understands the code in question better than I do, I figured I should point it out at least.

I think there's a bug in one of the events--I don't know how spoiled you are for PB23 Krill (I know you said you were too spoiled for Whosit, but I don't know if you're globally spoiled or a ded-lurker for someone. Details in the spoiler:
My axes are getting Shock right as I produce them, even though I haven't seen anything for the "Axes get Shock" event (and I thought you removed that event for being too lopsided)--my guess is that since I got the "Melee units get Cover" event, somehow that's giving my axes Shock since the events are running together in the code somewhere? I don't know how you would fix it (since I haven't touched the event code, even though it looks like it's mostly/entirely in the XML), and how to test it (since there's no way to force an event to trigger, as far as I know).

I think that event is still extant.

If that event still exists, it isn't appearing in my event log (more PB23 spoilers):

That means "Axes get Shock" is either part of the "Melee units get Cover" event, part of the Truffles event, or doesn't have an entry in the event log. Any thoughts of what this would be?

Interesting. Will look at it tomorrow. Going to be a busy day today for me. I have an idea but if that turns out to be true I think events are going to need a lot of work.

Hello Master Krill,

Looking for the Change log for 2.0.7.4. It used to be here,...

I don't tend to keep old change logs lying around: to be honest I've always copied the changelog into the first post of my lurker thread when I've played a game.
