Yeah.
Going to try to rex as much as possible. Second site should be the gold, followed at some point by the 2x wines and reagents, probably in that order, although the temptation of instant gratification will make me want to settle the wines second. Not worth it though.
Turnpace killed my interest in this game. RNG killed my chances:
![]() Can't recover from that. Would have had vision over the tile in two turns. Even with Aggressive, I'll still need about 8-10 Warriors to be certain of overcoming Archers in a city on a hill, and since it's a plains hill the barbs will have produced at least a few Warriors before I can get my units in place, each of which will take at least two of mine to kill. So I need... idk, like at least 12 Warriors before I can take the city that's key to my economy, and then I'll need to build a monument there to work the gold; razing isn't an option, not with already having to deal with the hammer investment from the Warriors.
Kotaku Settler with found on the lighthouse, existent Settler will take the 2x wines location, but in no way does the latter come anywhere close to being as good as the gold spot would have been. Don't have anywhere else decent to expand after those two, so yeah, then it's warriors until I have a big stack. Ellimist is in that direction as well, I think, so I really need to lock it down ASAP.
