Updated the pitboss sheet, but the PBEM (BtS and FFH) sheets need some love.

With PB29 looming on the horizon (description: "Experimental PB to be conducted not with full diplo, but full real diplo. Realms Beyond will fund plane tickets so everyone can convene in a room in person to hammer out the gamelong NAPs.") I suggest we get started on the planning for this so we can get discounts on airfare rather than getting burned by last minute booking.
For a meeting destination, let's go with the Watergate Hotel in Washington, DC. I recommend the "Diplomat Suite with Balcony" for a modest $10k/night. Obviously we'll need to rent a room for each civ similar to what the United States, Canada, and Mexico did while hashing out NAFTA (also done at the Watergate). These suites come with a large amount of square footage to accommodate room to pace during tense negotiations and balconies, with gravity assist, to provide leverage for those most difficult but critical moments in diplomacy. Other amenities:
Code: 1200-1615 sq. ft. Diplomatic in every way, this VIP suite comes fitted with lavish finishes, sleek furniture and lush bedding, all artfully chosen with the guest in mind. Custom-made bath amenities, exclusively created by La Bottega, perfectly compliment the floor-to-ceiling five fixture marble bathrooms. The Diplomat Suite with balcony comes with a kitchenette and a step-out balcony with staggering views of the Potomac.
All handcrafted guest rooms feature:
55" in flat-screen TV
Plush Robes
La Bottega bath amenities
Umbrella
Sleeper sofa
Mini-bar snacks with refrigerator
Iron and ironing board
Hairdryer
Clock radio
Coffee/espresso/tea makers
300 thread count cotton sheets
Goose down comforters
Down and synthetic pillow options
Lighted bathroom make-up vanity
24 hour in-room dining
Smoke Free Environment
I'll happily sign up for this game as soon as we have a sponsor. Cal, you'll be hosting (aka bankrolling) this one, right?

The bedrooms are all very well, but what about the conference room? We're all going to be spending at least 12 hours per day in there hammering out those NAPs, so that area being well up to scratch is a requirement.

How good is the security to stop us all killing LP when he tries to start negotiating those NAPs is my question.

Watergate, eh? Well, I hate to be Nixon the idea, but has anybody put a good Woodward in about the place? It would be a shame to spend so much and then get Bernsteined by some CREEPs.

This is not a business conference but rather a convention among civilized nations. Whoever works for a government agency is on the hook for this, not me. I work in education so if I had to pay we'd be dragging 1980's-era single-wide aluminum-siding trailers to the end of a gravelly cul-de-sac way out in God's Country (can you hear the banjos?) for meeting space.

You ARE a barbarian. But the 300 thread count sheets caught my eye too. I mean, if I'm spending $10k a night for a room it better come with at least 1000 thread count EGYPTIAN cotton, right? Or, be satiny smooth with a couple of, ahem, room assistants to help you get to sleep.

When the US, Canada, and Mexico negotiated NAFTA they had individual industries (textile manufacturing, suit-making, automotive, agriculture, etc) in their own room. Each trade group would negotiate their area of expertise and then report back to their management overlords when they had an accord. The very last deal to be reached was, obscurely, regarding the suit-making industry, and particularly between Canada and the US. The Canadians had an inherent advantage importing wool because of other bilateral trade agreements that inflated the cost of importing for the US. This is, I think, somehow related to the Chicken Tax, which is the reason why domestic automakers have a near lock on the light truck sector of the US automotive market. Relevance to Civ: virtually zero.
I would imagine that we would seldom have our NAP agreements in a free-for-all environment like PB7 so we wouldn't need a huge conference space, just lots of nice individual spaces. But if we want all of our NAPs out in the open, well, we could get a big room in the lobby.

At $10k/night I would hope it would be sufficient. But recall, these rooms come with balconies so everyone would do well to either negotiate in good faith or wear a very good helmet.

Hey, I added basic information about PBEM 65, but not the description. I'll leave that to a global lurker.

Updated PB18 information. It's a scoop!
Someone else can do a better write up when they get around to it.
