Oh, yeah you are right of course. Seems I really have forgotten quiet a few things.

4244 land tiles. CH has met someone else already because he only put 2 EP into us.
4244 / 23 = 184 land tiles per player. If you assume 12 land tiles per city that's about 15 cities per player which is about 1.5 rings of cities.

Serdoa, we still need to play the turn...

Done. Had a rough day at work today and no time to play in the morning either.
I have not ended the new turn but moved the scouts. Didn't see a reason not too. I also believe the game somehow bugged because our scout was attacked by a barb animal AFTER I moved him in the new turn. Nothing happened though so I don't think it matters. Also I didn't move the warrior, neither last turn nor this. If CH declares we can move back. I don't think he will though, the "gain" (delaying us) doesn't make up having an enemy in the game imo. But I don't know him, so who knows. Maybe we should move the warrior back right now even? I hadn't thought about it last turn, but moving him back would put us in a better position in case he declares. (September 3rd, 2015, 11:49)Serdoa Wrote: Done. Had a rough day at work today and no time to play in the morning either. Was the barb attack after you moved your scout immediately after rolling the turn? There is a little bit of a delay before the barb civ gets around to moving, just a matter of seconds I suppose while other processes are completing (production, etc), but this can be a little longer here or there on pitboss from what I've observed, possiblydue to connection issues? No idea but there is some delay. Anyway, I can recall a situation where I was able to double move a barb because I moved the unit again after ending turn. I don't think this is reliable enough to try to plan for but it is possible.
There is a fixed 8 second delay (in addition to whatever lag is caused by the game needing to "compute" the end of turn, which is like pretty much nothing now but will be significant later) before the barbs' "turn" is played. It's definitely reliable; I tested it myself in PB22 after I found out about it from Adrien, and I saw Borsche rely on it to save his own ass in one of our offsite games. That said, its always scummy to play clock games...
Uh well I'm not sure about the warrior since I'm not sure if we'd be in the first or second half if CH declares on us. I think it's fine to stay put since we can move back into the city this or next turn if he declares and then his scout would be next to the warrior if he wants to camp on the ivory or something, and then we'd kill it. I guess in retrospect we could have ducked out SE last turn and then moved back, giving us info about what's across the lake in the meantime.
I'm going to guess that stone in the northeast is going to be next to somebody like ours, so we can head over there to meet him after popping the hut. Which will hopefully be Mysticism!

I played immediately after rolling the turn Joey and BGN, so I guess you are right and I was simply quicker. Though nothing I could plan for as I saw the barb unit only after I moved the second time.
@Noble: Moved the warrior out as CH moved away. Found a bear E of the lake (I forgot how to make signs in-game, so I couldn't put one down for that).
Alt+S to make a sign. Clearly if I didn't tell you I could deluge the map with signs and you'd be powerless to remove them!
