Anyone feeling up for some islands game?
[SPOILERS] Realms Beyond's Pitboss 29th Spectacular Lurker Thread

Starts are going to be vaguely identical:
1 seafood (fish), 1 grain (wet wheat or corn). Plains hill start. Between 4-6 coastal tiles, no ocean. No lakes. No flood plains. 6 forests per start. 3 grass hills. 2 other plains hills, one inner ring and forested. Minimum of 8 capital tiles with river, maximum 12.
No pigs-to-punish-Seven again?

No three person continents. I'm moving away from that towards a true archipelago with individual islands starts, or significantly more likely, a lakes/highlands map.
Blah I'm really not feeling this.
Can someone random me four maps, of some previously used description for 9 players and I'll knock something oit from there for people to gawk at.
Invert PB1?

I've designed an 18 tile by 15 tile template for a 9 player game. It will be an unatural, hand drawn map, with total map dimensions of 54 tiles horizontal by 45 tiles vertical. Starting with the first "tile" of the template, each additional tile is placed 18 tiles to the right and 5 tiles down, until the full map is completed.

That's the base, I just need it cropping to remove all the ocean and then replicating, few minor touches to deal with possibly broken rivers and lurkers can have at it. |
