The point is to avoid a public accusation in case it isn't what it looks like. Once you get your name out as a possible rule breaker it tarnishes your reputation, so discretion is better than public flogging unless there is established a deliberate pattern of rule breaking. I don't want to make anyone feel bad or make anything less fun but I assume that most people who play fairly and follow the rules would want there to be some kind of enforcement mechanism in place to make sure everyone plays fairly when it becomes apparent that there might be deviations from expected behavior. I guess the alternative is to ignore the possibility of cheating when it may be seen to be happening, but I doubt that's palatable to most people here.
I agree. But under this ideas, that tech thread post was unnecessary, better to just contact the people in private.

And speaking of such...Ichabod, did you forget to end your turn?
No, I didn't. I'm waiting to see if my teammate wants to give input on the current game situation.
Plotting is afoot!

I see you logged back in. Did the AI mess anything up for you? If it did, we can probably do a reload before anyone else does too much of their turns. And with any luck there is someone around to do the reload right now.

I don't think the AI did anything (I had finished my turn before that) but when I logged back in I couldn't do anything it said it was "waiting for other civilizations". Not sure if that's normal ?

I'll try again, I could't delete the sign I wanted to delete so I thought I had no reason to stay logged in anymore.

Yes I can move units and change citizens but not put more signs up or delete existing ones. I guess it's all right then.

I would be annoyed with that. If you want a reload say, it gets more awkward the longer you leave it!
