I'm very happy to see Speaker back on an even keel, that was a nice post by him in their spoiler thread. Now let's hope that Jowy stops being needlessly provocative so that the game doesn't get out of hand again.

I'm not counting on seeing too much of Sullla in the coming turns, especially seeing how Rome is about to join the fracas. However Speaker seems mentally prepared for that - he's got a very keen radar.

Yes, like everyone else I'm impressed with Speaker. He should send that message to every team in this game by email, and that might do quite a bit of good for diplomacy! (After all he seems to have won over nearly every lurker)

you can see that they clearly do have visibility across the diagonal when it's coast.

Yes a look at the visibilty from the rice-tile in Whosit-picture proves it too.

Visibility from a land tile across water is two tiles.

Visibility from a water tile across water is one tile until extra visibility is added through tech.
