Also, this game has officially reached stupidity level with every team on the globe invading us. Not really sure what to say, other than I don't think I'll be playing another one of these games ever again.

If sullla doesn't play another PB game, RB pitboss will never see this much interest again. The CoW can take credit for killing or at least severely nerfing RB pitboss through sheer power of uber-lameness.

So everyone who happens to play against Sullla has to make sure he wins else he is responsible for killing the interest?!?

Besides if India manages to survive and turn the tide this game will become legendary.

i have to agree with Rowain here, while i do feel that india have been delt a rotten card by getting dogpiled the way they have, there is no devine right to win a game. and i dont think it will be the end of intrest in PB games.

that said i hope some lessons are lerned by both future players and admin to stop some of the legal bikering in future games.

If India gets killed, then this game will be a shining example that mp games are not just about civ ability. No one was thinking of ganging up to kill India just because they were Spullla - it was because they were rocketing to victory.

Lessons to be learned ...
- constant diplomatic stance, look to find fast friends
- if you are a demograchic screen powerhouse - hide the fact as much as possible.

I really find some of the melodrama which comes from everyone involved in this game to be truly hilarious.

Its a game! People shouldn't care this much about it - its not healthy!

And if Sullla is so stubborn to not accept his own failings (of which there are plenty) in bringing this dogpile about, and rather blame 'noobs attacking on reputation', then I would be happy not to see him in another PB again.

To begin with I was a Spulla supporter when the CoW first formed, but I admit that they have actually played a blinder in organising something this complex. There is no better play and whether they succeed or fail (which depends on Whosit and Sulla) then they should be proud of their efforts. Speaker has done superbly for India militarily but I can foresee a ragequit from Sulla if they lose Freddy.

But I think that this is a compelling game to watch, and I think that everyone can learn from BOTH India and the CoW in this game.

I disagree. Any of these teams could have closed the economic gap if they had showed any competence at all. Instead, they didn't even try to develop their economies because they knew for sure they'd never be able to compete economically with sullla.

If it had been Mr Random Internet dude in the tech lead position, I have a hard time believing it would also inspire a 5v1.

Their stats- being #1 in everything and their insane GNP (not helped by the binary system) in a no tech-trading game is the main reason here. Every player said so in their own respective threads and even Sullla/Speaker themselves were bragging about how much higher their GNP was compared to everyone else.
