Yeah, but this is in effect setting a precedent. For that reason you really need more than just one or two teams in on the decision. Krill's the right guy, and IMO he made the right ruling for the right reason. We should probably adopt something similar for RBP3.
As someone who has done this in SP several times (where, TBH, it rarely matters), I feel bad for Rome . It will be very difficult to achieve his goal of razing Fredericksburg now.

IMO, this is exactly like touching a piece in a chess tournament, and then realizing with horror that moving it anywhere means losing your queen. Too bad, those mechanics are as much a part of the game you're playing as the strategy is.

I've never seen a reload in a pitboss game for a misclick.
You can't have a reload for stupidity, else there'd be a case a reload almost every turn.

5. Whosit blundered with OB and declaring war.
The 5 things that are really REALLY making me consider ditching CoW right now. If we had done this properly India would likely be stuck with Gettys + Antietam by now and have no copper or horses.
Peace would massively help my research and I'm definately leaning that way.
Emailed India asking if they were available for a chat over the weekend, we'll see how that goes...
Um, WOW. Last time I counted, Dantski's troops were something like half of the CoW's remaining invasion force exclusive of the Praets. If he bows out

That misclick might have just saved Spullla's game. Between the time they need for catas everywhere, and now Dantski's second thoughts...
It's Jowy + Kathlete that have pushed Spullla's buttons, and they've taken most of the damage. At least we've still gotten an MP tactics clinic.

The dynamics are changing, I wonder if this could be the advantage sullla and speaker have been waiting for

A chance for Spullla to redeem themselves in the diplomatic side of the game? Dantski isn't switched yet but looks like it's likely. If he switches over within the next bit then CoW are gonners. Spullla is starting to spit out cats, without Dantski's troops then the non-praet group will be mopped up in no time, rome's forces messed up and won't do any real damage.
I'd say it's still the wrong move if he wants to win but then the anti-spullla group isn't quite looking so hot right now. Spullla does need to be taken down if the others want to win and this may be the best and only chance to really do so. They've really messed up repeatedly though trying to pull this off.

Seems to me that making up with Spullla, at least to the extent that they will bash the rest of the CoW first, may well be Dantski's longest-life-expectancy play. It's not a play for #1, no, but he's got good odds of outlasting more of his opponents that way.
