Air seems like a given.
I also thought of King Condors - is that a thing? In norwegian/norway we have King Eagles. Are Condors bald eagles?
Is there anything called a Gray Condor?
Can someone confirm that there's no baseball team called the Condors? David, are you American? Is Psilly American?
Bats and Crows have wings, like Condors. Crow should get precedence over Bat, I would think.
Even if there's a film called Condor I think Psilly could do better than cluing Condor for Film + Air.
I'm leaning towards Air + Crow. It seems like the spymaster should expect those two words to be guessed when cluing a bird.
Post-preview reflection: Actually Air + Crow makes little sense. Why not Raven or something more akin to a Crow, in that case. Why would one specifically choose Condor over some other bird? I guess King, Film and Gray/Baseball if applicable are the only answers explaining that. So I guess I'm leaning Air + King, but I'd also support passing after Air.
I have to run.

What sort of a bird even is a Condor? Sounds like a bird of prey, but is it? Or a scavenger? The image I have in my mind is of something relatively proud, but I actually have no idea, I don't think there are Condors in England and I don't even know what the Russian translation of this word is (I assume dictionaries are banned also under the rules). Might Condors swim? What colour are they?
I would cross out Bat for now, but leave Swimming open until we know.
My biggest problem is that Air + Crow/Bat/Film/King seem to be easier to clue with other words. Actually, perhaps Air + King is the hardest to clue.

Twinkletoes, if you don't have serious objections, I guess it's up to you to point to Air for now

I'm really showing my ignorance here, but I think maybe Condors are eagles? Possibly a symbol of America? David and Twinkletoes, please educate us.

Also, pending further aviary revelations, I say we pass after Air, whilst making it clear that, in absence of further clues, we'll be trying King in the later rounds.

I agree on air.
I have a gut feeling that condor is a water bird and so I like swimming as a choice.
I think Crow is possible too, and may be a safer bet. Plus choosing a bird not affiliated with sports teams helps us avoid Baseball

Point to Air
Looks like we know nothing about Condors, whoop. I suggest passing next if we have the chance. I prefer King over Swimming, if gut feel is all we have to go on.

I think we should go for Crow too. I think he's deliberately chosen a bird that isn't related to any sports teams.
I am 99% sure that it is not King. I have heard the name condor before, but never prefixed with King.

I mean, what bird close to Crow wouldn't otherwise be a sports team?
Raven, Eagle. Cardinal, Seahawk all would point at ball
Bluejay etc would look at baseball.
There are no big sports teams called condor so I think he chose it to know we're looking for bird clues and not anything else
