Eyebrow and cuticle. Possibly dash for beauty contest as a third. But those first two are the closest?

Beauty (2)

1. EYEBROWs are a frequent target at beauty salons.
2. CUTICLEs likewise.
3. Beauty pageant contestants typically wear a SASH.
4. Much of the point of SUSHI is eye appeal.
5. At least one CHAIR design has made it into art museums.
6. ADVERTISErs love their eye-catching women (but this may be an answer for cigarette).

This makes me lean towards Sash. But Sash, Eyebrow, and Cuticle are all reasonable guesses, and it's hard to pick just two.

Advertise makes sense too, but it may be a Cigarette word.

Let's point to Eyebrow and then debate the next guess.

Red wins the round.

Blue words were Sash and Cuticle. Assassin was Goodbye.

Rant in the spoiler.

NobleHelium
man
i hate these guys
ZAK> WHAT DOES SASH MEAN
LEWWYN> ITS LIKE THAT THING WOMEN WEAR IN A BEAUTY PAGEANT
OH LOOK ITS A BEAUTY CLUE
SASH IS PROBABLY LESS LIKELY
pindicator
tell me about it. WTF do they think i said cigarette and not fire for?
NobleHelium
well we're probably going to give you a free word so i think you'll win smile
pindicator
did you have a plan for Blunt & Sash? I knew if I kept eyebrow on the board it was my best shot
NobleHelium
yes i was going to clue wrap for those
i debated cluing wrap anyway to indicate that plant was something else, but figured they wouldn't get cuticle regardless and decided this was a better shot
last turn i mean, instead of cluing fall
pindicator
yeah, i would never have gotten Blunt from plant. I figured that threw your clues off
NobleHelium
i had planned all four clues in advance and was going to go from obscure words to common words
in terms of the answers
pindicator
i couldn't figure out how to pair matchstick or eyebrow with much of anything without clueing your words, so I did the opposite
NobleHelium
i definitely thought they might guess eyebrow
pindicator
was really hoping they'd go "Private Eye" for Investigator and pick Eyebrow there, didn't even think about Agent
NobleHelium
but i hoped they would actually think about prior clues
i did think they would definitely get sash
and then it would be either eyebrow or cuticle
and then someone goes HEY cuticle is part of a plant too
pindicator
maybe Pageant instead of beauty? hard to say though
NobleHelium
there's no connection between pageant and cuticle
pindicator
yeah, that's true
i wussed out earlier. I was going to do Geico (4) for my second clue but then I got scared I didn't have any Americans on my team and they wouldn't know it
NobleHelium
haha
lizard, advertise, (insurance) agent, and what?
pindicator
i have no idea where bob is from
NobleHelium
bob is american
not sure where
pindicator
but jkaen is egypt and novice is europe
NobleHelium
jkaen is british but in egypt i believe
pindicator
ah damn, he would have gotten it then
NobleHelium
novice is scandinavian, i think norwegian
pindicator
oh yeah, just like zak duh
NobleHelium
what's the fourth word for geico?
pindicator
i was thinking Private, Advertise, Lizard, and Agent
NobleHelium
private seems to be a stretch
pindicator
private might have been a stretch - yeah
Still, it seems like early on is the time to do the stretches
NobleHelium
yeah i agree
the only thing that really matters is not hitting opponent words (and obviously the black) and the number of clues to completion
pindicator
I think when it comes to looking up definitions its not something that the players would do as much as the ppl giving clues. We only have 8-9 words to think about, they would need to look up 25
NobleHelium
well most of the words are pretty common
nobody needs to look up blunt :P
pindicator
I had no idea a cuticle was related to pants before I liked it up though smile
NobleHelium
and yes dave everyone knows a blunt is a homemade marijuana cigarette
pindicator
I think you made the right clue though. Since you guys are up a game already you might as well go for it all.
NobleHelium
well it was either sticking to the original clue list and then hoping they'd get cuticle by backguessing plant, or going with this
i thought this was better
pindicator
The other option is just to clue for sash and leave cuticle up knowing I have to give a clue for eyebrow and advertise but can't hit cuticle
NobleHelium
yeah but you'd have a chance to win then
i wasn't that convinced they'd hit eyebrow
pindicator
Guess your teammates think eyebrows are more beautiful than you do tongue
NobleHelium
if it was eyelash i probably wouldn't have gone for it
pindicator
Yeah, that would be a lot stronger
pindicator
they picked the worst one first frown
NobleHelium
well yes
pindicator
i kind of feel like both teams are tunnel visioning on what the first person says

Plucking eyebrows is usually linked with beauty.
@pindi we use the spoilers exactly to not influence each other.

Tricky words. You probably just had to bite the bullet and clue them one-by-one there at the end. Or give a 0 clue for eyebrow first.

Let's choose spymasters for the final round. Rowain?
If you know what I mean.

Well, this would be a pretty good hint that eyebrow isn't grey, so perhaps not such a great strategy.
