If Jowy pulls an Exploit then Spullla will just say that it constitutes a breach of the NAP agreement with whomever receives the cities, and keep on warring.
It might be gamesmanship and poor form but I don't think it will stop the game. RBP1 didn't even slow down.
EDIT: Of course that was not a very comparable situation. Maybe a better comparison is PBEM1 and the city of Medina. In that game, the attacker chose to respect the peace treaty with the new city owner, but it wasn't exactly good for their diplomatic relations. And that was just one city.
I have to run.

Going to post this here to avoid spoilers in their thread.

I rather doubt there would be much of a diplo hit if Jowy were to gift the cities. I would think there would be more of a diplo hit for Jowy, actually, for being so gamey. Considering that Kathlete didn't have much of a diplo
hit for breaking a NAP for the Byzantines aggresive settling, I rather doubt the even more aggresive/gamey move of gifting cities would be viewed any worse.

Err... Kathlete didn't break any NAPs did they? Athlete broke a NAP in PBEM1 but not in this game IIRC.
Agree that Spullla would take no diplo hit in the given scenario - and if they did, what does it matter.

Exploit surrendered to the attacking forces. He surrendered on his own terms, but he still gave everything over to the people who were attacking him, not a third party.
Kathlete taking Jowy's cities because Spullla was about to...Spullla would declare war on Kathlete immediately, and not stop until they were dead. If they had a NAP at the time, then Spullla could say "Um, swiping cities from under our noses is an aggressive action. You broke the NAP. Goodbye."

You think a team with Sullla would break a NAP over a technical detail of the agreement?
I don't know, have we ever seen that before?

Correct we did not have a NAP with them.
And in this case, if it was me, there's not a chance that I would honor the NAP.

Oh, and anyone else notice that the lurker thread finally has more posts than Spulla's?

Does it make a difference that 90% of the posts in this thread are about Spulla too?

If Spulla thinks Damski has really allied with them and he's not that is a move...
All that Jowy can do is to hold on as best he can...He has very few choices...
I think, in the back of his mind, Whosit made that error on purpose in order to not waste 8 Pats.
The more I think of it, when one of the players in a spoiler thread said that this game had lots of bad faith, the more I think it was just bad word choice on his part. The fact alone that there are lots of active spoiler threads shows that there is good faith. What he ment where people nasty and try to get an edge anyway possible without cheating. However, I think that it would be a big mistake to make any concessions...
