This is a version of our website that is hosted on our new host, and upgraded from MyBB 1.6.16 to 1.8.7. I'm already seeing a good few bumpy edges that need to be fixed, but I could use help finding out as many of them as a can.

Your normal login info should work over there, feel free to log in and test it out. Post any bugs you find here, and you get extra brownie points if you do research and can find someone saying how to fix it so I don't have to hunt them all down.

Probably all of them will depend on my going through the massive Find Updated Templates list anyways.

UPDATE:

I've deleted and redone the move and update, except this time the upgrade is just a minor one from 1.6.16 to 1.6.18. The 1.8 upgrade is going to be huge in regards to making sure all the templates are reconciled, which I don't have time for right now, and I want to isolate issues stemming from that to any issues we might have just with the webhosting move.

So see if there are any issues with the website as you see it now, though hopefully there shouldn't be many at all.

First bug I found: the Login link takes you to http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/member.php?action=login, not http://www.realmsbeyond.dreamhosters.com...tion=login :P

Kinda hard to test anything when 1) there are no forums visible as a guest, and 2) the login button leads back to the current site.

Still can't see fora as a guest... And either I forgot the (normally saved) password, which is a bit unlikely, or the might be a problem with login.
Using Firefox on android, which might be a little uncommon

Can't see forums as a guest on either Windows 7-Firefox or iOS9-Safari.

In any case, you should be commended for testing the update on another webspace first.

Well not seeing the forums makes sense, I hid all the forums except the admin requests and testing forums, and apparently just making their category visible didn't make those subforum visible as well. I can log in and fix that easy.

The real annoying issue is why login isn't working. There much still be some host name conflict or caching problem somewhere and I thought I had fixed all of those. And that's the worst one to have to fix because that's due to the mirroring host name I'm using so it isn't even something that would still be a problem when we do the real move and point the DNS changes over.

I created a thread in the test forum (Android tablet, Chrome). The icons are missing for all the text editing features for the text box (bold, italic, etc), which probably has something to do with the text box itself being very small and hard to type in. I had to resize the text box to be able to see what I was writing. Then when I posted the thread (no image for the post button) I looked at replying to the post and had a similar problem finding the text box to type the reply post in. I'll post a screenshot tonight when I'm not on a tablet.
