If I buy the game on release (seems likely at the moment), I will certainly play, be it SG or adventure or both smile

We Play Civ is organizing a Single Player Demo Game and all are welcome to join us and participate or to just lurk and vote in the odd poll...

Whether SG, MP or Adventure --- I'll likely be buying the game so count me in.

Depending on how soon I buy the game I'll participate

It might be too restrictive for #1 but I wouldnt mind trying an Acrophobic (fear of heights) epic in the new game fairly early.

Since all the previews seem to emphasize how important mountains are, I think it would be interesting where (as much as possible) you are not allowed to have any part of a city (inc districts and wonders) adjacent to a mountain, maybe limit units being next to them too (not sure if that would be doable)

Just looking back I see I was using my terminology wrong, its an epic I was suggesting we do, not an adventure (which seems to be more heavy on the map building)

Maybe we could/should start with an "Epic #0" game? Just a regular map with no special settings, but everyone starts from the same save, so we have a standard to measure our play and reporting against. That could be run right after release for whoever has bought the game early.

I'm waiting for reviews from within the community. Commercial reviews aren't worth the paper they're not printed on any more.
