RENASTEREA

In late era starts the number of worker turns needed for improvements is lowered, same as the cost for buildings and research for tech is also lowered. the amounts vary, but you can find it in the XML (GameInfo>CIV4ErasInfos.XML)

Whoa, so lemme get this straight. So, I know that Civ4 tracks worker improvements to at least one decimal point, because, for example, in RtR mod it will take workers in serfdom (which gets a +75% bonus in RtR) exactly 4 turns to complete a workshop, but if you're in serfdom for just 3 turns of that, the worker will still complete the improvement on the 4th turn. That means 3*1.75 + 1 = 6.25 worker turns were invested in total, enough to finish the workshop.

What you're saying here is that the Ren era start lowers the time it takes to complete an improvement to 90% (the iImprovementPercent variable in the XML file) of its full value. Thus, a plantation (or farm) goes from 5 -> 4.5 worker turns needed to finish. Without serfdom, it still takes 5 full worker turns to complete the improvement. However, with serfdom it completes exactly in 4.5/1.5 = 3 turns!

Well how about that!

That's wacky. Talk about buried mechanics.

I must admit ,I made 3 mistakes when the game started.

1.Asumming the nationalism , taj mahal play is not worth, as the sitation is right now i think Rem is ahead of me at least 3-4 turns because of Taj efect and , we know civ is snowball.

2.Considering that baray is not such a huge thing, but doing some mathe we have something like that 2 cities for 38 turn -76 food,
2 cities for 22 turns- 44 food, and another 2 for like 15 turns there yo have another 30 food. so between them 150 food, considering that using whiping you get 2 hammers for that food ther you have 300 productionso is asetler and a worker and here i dont take in consideration the snowbal efect were you get the city 1 turn faster cause grows 1 turn faster.

3.Freaking plako got my leader.
