Actually I had the "pleasure" of being on the end of my first nuke attack very recently in a pitboss and I have to say that I hated every minute of it. So I'm not sure I'd wish that on anyone.

Do you want to settle Aryan? Shall I do it? Do you want to retreat those troops?
Let me know and I play the turn quickly. Don't want sooooo to wait any longer.

I can settle it and then leave a skeleton defense for you to take it in a couple of turns after it grows - getting the city and the GG you're after, or I can just pull out and leave a couple of Infantry on flatland; whichever works best for you (not that I really have anywhere else to put that settler to use, while you could settle the Deer/Aluminium spot further West.)
Do you still need the use of a few Workers in the Vienna area? I could be "careless" with a couple and let you capture them ... once I've tidied up the mess at Najran & Medina a bit.
Also, have you any interest in OrgRel or Caste System? I have a couple of stationary Spies that I could put to use too....

You might want to consider being careless about Medina as well. As far as I can see at current size 7 it can work only 5 tiles under your control. Under my control it would be able to work a lot more grassland river tiles.
But I understand if you want to keep it. I don't think that it will be down to 2 or 3 votes in the end.

t197 - OK, so I'm got going to war as previously planned...
Cultural progress:
Istanbul - 18t
Ankara - 42t
Izmir - 50t
Aryan mk2 is founded in the NW and nets me the Fish. The city will grow in 3t, and there's nothing can be built in that time with the 1h/t so I just dial up Wealth. I put the rest of the Transported troops into the city, but keep the Transports nearby for when they have to withdraw.
GSpy infiltrates Death Valley and brings the EP ratio back to 2401/2970 - barely in my favour, and not for long I'm sure! Won't give me city view, but I'll be able to see his tech for a couple of turns at least.
I lose two Spies attempting to revolt mh, but the third manages to force the OrgRel revolt and return to Istanbul. The remaining two start to withdraw towards their new duties in Ruff's lands.
Istanbul, Ankara & Izmir start on Security Bureaus. Hinduism to Sarmatian as another location to build a Temple; Kayseri takes Christianity and starts on Missionaries, but I fail another Buddhism spread - this time to Ankara. Turns out that the UN will take 5turns whether built at Izmir of Mecca, so Mecca starts in on that. Rest of the cities are on Missionaries, Temples, Execs, and then a mixture of Gold & EP buildings.

As for the GG, since I think the diplo victory is 99% certain I went ahead and got me the GG in a non-cheesy way, by shooting down two of your interceptors over Damascus.
I will replace them after the UN vote / peace, if you insist, but you seem to have an endless supply of fighters.
Killing troops at Aryan would also creat more WW for you as I am still culturally dominant in that area.
But you just got rid of the sooooo WW anyway, right?

Well that was careless of me; I put them on intercept with nothing else for them to do - I wouldn't usually mh seems to dominate aerial encounters - and he saw a chance to shoot them down. Ah well.

As for my Fighters, you'll have to impart your secrets of Aerial combat to me ... unless it's just "luck into getting an uber-Fighter w/ C3" in which cae it's a crapshoot really. I do have plenty of Fighters; Ruff dumped most of his air Force on me as he was finishing sooooo off (for free, which surprised me) and I actually decommissioned a bunch of planes and a Carrier when you retreated inland and they became that much less useful.
To be honest WW is no longer an issue; my least happy city (Strassburg) is currently sitting at +13 ... and that's without either a Jail or a Theatre (iirc). I have Police State and Mt. Rushmore to rid me of 75% of the WW. Though even with a pretty-full set of resources - from Athlete's land and trades with Ruff - I was seeing 9WW creep through in some of the larger cities before they finished their Jails. 60% Culture solves most happiness issues, and I was even toying with switching back to Rep at the end of my GA, but a couple of key cities had neither Jail nor Theatre and would have drowned in WW until either/both were built.
