Indeed; 3 1/3 GPT is crazy cheap for a happy resource.

Yeah, plus I'm pretty sure Amazon has a patent on that.

You can only patent code so unless Civ5 is built out of dhtml, then I don't think they can do anything about it. :-p

I happen to disagree. there are enough possibilities to declare war where you have a confirm window so I'm quite happy that there is a possibility to declare war fast without always having to confirm it.

That is kind of like saying "My house has so many locked entrances, that I'm happy there's at least one unlocked one so I get in and out easily." Whether there are any ways to declare war that ask for confirmation is pretty much irrelevant to the fact that ~20% of the war declarations in this game have been unintentional.

Notified Rome of the activation. We'll partake of this war together. I currently have 5 HA's, 3 Cats, 2 Axe, 1 Spear, 1 Chariot, 5 Warriors, 7 Archers and 7 Praets. I'll be gifting 4 HA's and 4 Praets back to Rome and keeping the remaining Praets for me. I've got 2 more HA's and an archer in production right now. I also plan to upgrade my 5 warriors to axe's/spears for the Inca war.

looks like we will get our 2nd real war - who's your money on?? I reckon inca will not survive this long term but will put up a decent fight.

Will be interesting to see how India reacts; they certainly don't want Inca to be divided between Ottomans & Rome.

Trouble is, they don't have much of a relationship, which would make direct intervention difficult. They make take the opportunity to finish Jowy or join in a war with HRE, I suppose. More likely the former, since they'll certainly have seen Jowy's new cities (though may well not realize the Settlers were gifted - I expect they will consider that smoke if they do) and won't want him back on his feet.

Sorry but your comparison is beyond stupidity.

Additional this game has still a very strong Single player part and being able to declare war with one click is quite comfortable there. That people sometimes forget how it works is equal to Whosit too-late war dec. Whats next perhaps a warning window about that tells you 'if you move in and declare war your Units get teleported'. More babysitting needed?

If anything they devs should make sure that the wardec is a key-combination not easily mistaken for a friendly interaction but please no more freaking confirm-windows.
